Haven’t posted in a while. It’s like a good, no great habit that I am working on making time for. But I started painting so I was going to share a painting I made. Inspiration came from a mistake. We left some canvases in the trunk of our car and something poked a hole in one. Instead of throwing it away I decided to use it to kill sometime today. Abby and I really like it. My painting skills are limited but I am creative so I turned it into and illustrated message. What does it mean to you? I would think about it before you read my interpretation in the caption.  So I’ll remind you real quick that personally I like to interpret things before I know the artists point of view before I say it lol. My meaning: You can put a bandaid on something but that doesn’t heal it. It covers it temporarily but you have to heal it. Or it will fester and eventually become exposed. Also this is a good example of turning a mistake into an opportunity.  I also took one of my girlfriends unfinished paintings and finished it. I liked how it turned out for sure. Painting is a meditative for of expression if I know not to judge myself for my lack of skill lol. The journey is the reward.

I didn’t even know you posted these on here. Saw the on my FB timeline. Both of these are super creative bro. The colorful one makes me think you’d be a dope graffiti artists. The band-aid one tells me that you can come up with simple ideas with powerful meanings. I mean I’ve never seen a bleeding band-aid before.
