La semana pasada les compartí un CD de la banda irlandesa <b>U2</b>, y les comenté que tenía otro CD de ellos, y hoy se los traje para compartirlos con todos ustedes, así como también parte de mis recuerdos.</div>

><div class="text-justify"> Once again I greet you on this Tuesday of <b>Three Tune Tuesday,</b> in its 87th week, a space that exists thanks to our friend @ablaze. Last week I shared with you a CD of the Irish band <b>U2</b>, and I told you that I had another CD of them, and today I brought it to you to share with all of you, as well as part of my memories.</div>

<div class="text-justify"> El disco que hoy traigo, es <b>Zooropa</b>, un álbum del año 1993 que llegó a mis manos más tarde, ya en el 2000, y aunque es el disco que menos me gusta de esta banda, quizás por su marcado carácter experimental y dark, diría incluso que extraño; aún así, algunas de sus canciones fueron importantes para mí en cierta etapa de mi vida, y me gustan mucho, por eso lo traje hoy, para compartirlo con todos.</div>

><div class="text-justify"> The album that I bring you today is <b>Zooropa</b>, an album from 1993 that came into my hands later, already in 2000, and although it is the album that I like the least by this band, perhaps because of its markedly experimental and dark, I would even say strange; still, some of his songs were important to me at a certain stage of my life, and I like them a lot, that's why I brought it today, to share it with everyone.</div>

<div class="text-justify">Tuve la suerte a lo largo de mi vida, (cuando los vinilos, los cassettes y los CD’s existían y se usaban como únicos medios de almacenar y oír música), de recibir de diversas personas muchos regalos musicales, pues quienes me conocen saben, que aún cuando yo no sea músico profesional, me encanta la música; y este CD es un regalo que recibí en un viaje loco que una vez hice en el 2000; y digo loco porque salí para una ciudad y finalicé en otra, cambiando de opinión y destino, justo antes de tomar un autobús a mi destino, decisión de la cual no me arrepiento, pues me permitió desmitificar a alguien; sí, así como se oye, desmitificar, porque a veces los humanos caemos en el grave error de creer que alguna u otra persona tiene un carácter casi celestial, jajajaja, y nada más lejano a la verdad, así que mejor poner los pies en tierra.</div>

><div class="text-justify"> I was lucky throughout my life, (when vinyl records, cassettes and CD's existed and were used as the only means of storing and listening to music), to receive many musical gifts from various people, because those who know me know that Even though I'm not a professional musician, I love music; and this cd is a gift i got on a crazy trip i once did in 2000; and I say crazy because I left for one city and ended up in another, changing my mind and destination, just before taking a bus to my destination, a decision I do not regret, because it allowed me to demystify someone; yes, just as you hear, demystify, because sometimes humans make the serious mistake of believing that one or another person has an almost heavenly character, hahahaha, and nothing could be further from the truth, so it's better to put your feet on the ground. </div>

<div class="text-justify">Este disco es muy particular, ya que tuvo la participación del gran músico Bryan Eno, lo que se evidencia en la música (los sintetizadores los toca él). Su empaque también es realmente singular, por la marcada estética abstracta que tiene. En su portada se presenta una alegoría a la bandera europea, y al abrir su cancionero, vemos que se mantiene la tendencia, con diversas y extrañas composiciones gráficas, que pueden incluso resultar inquietantes. En la contraportada vemos la lista de diez canciones del álbum. A continuación les comparto algunas fotografías.</div>

><div class="text-justify"> This album is very particular, since it had the participation of the great musician Bryan Eno, which is evident in the music (the synthesizers are played by him). Its packaging is also really unique, due to its marked abstract aesthetics. An allegory to the European flag is presented on its cover, and when opening its songbook, we see that the trend continues, with diverse and strange graphic compositions, which can even be disturbing. On the back cover we see the list of ten songs from the album. Below I share some photos. </div>

<div class="text-justify">El CD en sí mismo también es muy singular, con un estampado de nubecitas blancas sobre un violeta claro. Allí tiene algunos datos de producción relativos al álbum. Cabe mencionar que hoy no haremos ejercicio de arqueología moderna, pues este fue también un regalo y nunca supe su valor monetario, más fue un preciado regalo que aún conservo.</div>

#### <center>Ahora vamos con mis canciones / Now let's go with my songs </center>

<div class="text-justify">Vamos a comenzar oyendo <b>Numb </b>, el tercer surco del CD. Esta canción es diferente por varios motivos: La canta (o recita, porque parece un mantra) The Edge quien no es la voz principal de U2, sino que por lo general hace los coros y toca la guitarra; mientras que Bono hace voces secundarias. Por otra parte, esta canción presenta un sonido muy marcado por los sintetizadores y a mi gusto está genial, resultando una melodía que podría resultar adictiva, por decirlo de algún modo. También quiero resaltar que esta letra es una protesta ante las circunstancias que como parte de la sociedad actual nos toca vivir, y se ajusta muy especialmente al país que habito, Venezuela, en donde las libertadas están absolutamente coartadas. ><div class="text-justify"> Let's start by listening to <b>Numb </b>, the third track on the CD. This song is different for a number of reasons: It's sung (or recited, because it sounds like a mantra) by The Edge, who isn't U2's lead vocals, but usually does backing vocals and plays guitar; while Bono does secondary voices. On the other hand, this song has a sound marked by synthesizers and to my taste it's great, resulting in a melody that could be addictive, to put it in some way. I also want to emphasize that its lyrics is a protest against the circumstances that as part of today's society we have to live, and it is very especially adjusted to the country I live in, Venezuela, where the liberties are absolutely restricted. Esta canción para mí es bella, tanto por la melodía como por la letra, que en parte refleja la esencia de ese viaje loco, del cual les hablo al inicio de este post, además me fue especialmente dedicada. Una bella melodía y una letra igualmente hermosa, de la que les traje una parte, así como el video de la presentación de la banda en el marco de la gira Vértigo Tour, el día 2 de Marzo 2006, en Buenos Aires, Argentina, específicamente en el Estadium River Plate. Espero que la disfruten, al igual que las otras dos canciones.</div>
