 The Rumbia tree is what is called sago. In the past, sago was a staple food for the people of Aceh. Sago was eaten in the form of papeda, a kind of porridge. And sago itself was sold as bulk flour and was solidified or packed in banana leaves. Currently, sago can also  processed into noodles.

 The Rumbia plant belongs to the monocot plants and can be classified as various types of palms that grow on the banks of rivers and swamps.  usually when in Aceh the Rumbia tree grows there is also in a damp place and makes the Rumbia tree thrive, the people of Aceh can be called a sago tree.  leaves that can be used for roofing houses or other fabrics as needed.
