Given my last posts controversy here is a disclaimer for my followers. With a work in progress

# To Steemit fellow members 
 And to my steemit followers, this is not a drama post about me getting flagged, I did not do anything offensive to deserve diwnvotes, this was only as a balance out towards my payment which it was outrageous big for steemit's standards. Something I don't get to have a saying after all, I only have one concern about it. I understand the reasons why @smooth @stellabelle @julianita @transisto decided to downvote (report) my yesterday post,(it is understandable) at $90 payout it was among the top payout posts of steemit for some time which is awesome for me but also unexpected and out of my usually payouts, which I get.
  I also do not consider that my greatest painting or anything to deserve such a big pay out. It is sad though that this affects my ranking and with a 100% downvote out of smooth I can only imagine what my rank suffers today. That aspect feels a bit unfair but I am not going to cry about it, I will compensate with a work in progress to give my rank a positive push...

Your reputation will still increase from that post. And the way the reputation system works, downvotes made by accounts with less reputation than the receiving account have no impact on the receiver's reputation score.

Other comments are correct about rep, but one more thing important to note. 'Flag' despite the name on the site is not really the same as 'report'. You're not being reported (nor would there even be anyone to whom you could be reported) and you didn't necessarily do anything wrong. On this decentralized system there are no administrators or moderators. Everything is based on users voting.
