You wake up, take the train to work and write a bit of music on your laptop. Then you head into the city to do your work. I decided to take four separate videos of my commute on the train to compare the similarity of them. As it turns out the train speed mostly matches as it’s about to get into Chicago. The only thing that changes is the clearness of the window or the weather. Eventually all the videos go out of sync as subtle changes in the train operator's breaking misaligns them. But mostly everything stayed aligned and I got to repeat everything over and over again day by day and week by week. Video was taken with my phone pressed against the window and music was composed in MPC 2 with my MPK mini midi controller. Mixing and mastering was done in Cakewalk Sonar.
