Post-rock - A Little Damaged Original Improvisation

Here's a post rock style jam on my cigar box guitar. It is composed of four guitar tracks on my Axe FX II along with a subtle drum beat I programmed in Superior Drummer using the pop ezx sound library. 

The guitar tracks have quite a lot of reverb and delay on them to create an ambient sort of sound. The first track was just a click style track to keep time while I composed the other guitar tracks around it. Two of the tracks act as rhythm while the slide guitar track acts as lead. 

Pardon the roughness and a few mistakes here and there, this was all recorded as a one off session one track after the other. I named it a little damaged in homage to the roughness of the composition. Thanks for listening :-)

Pretty cool cigar box guitar and a nice sounds and beats your playing there did you make the cigar box guitar yourself they are a amazing instrument and fun to play by the looks of it 👍

I got this one from Russia, but one day it would be cool to try and build one. The hardest part is the neck. @amberyooper built a home made guitar recently.

Yes, I agree.

It's also a bit of a game because you'll get some f'wit come to listen to your work and choose one thing to judge you by then forever see you as their judgement. You'll also get random listeners that aren't so judgemental and enjoy it for what it is. Then you'll have more discerning music enthusiasts that hear it for what it is and appreciate it at the level it was created without putting you in a box for the rest of your existence. 

Fucking music industry and even just music in public is a game of perception which is counter intuitive and just fucking stupid. Many take this game like an ego battle, yet others use this unreasonable standard to shame themselves and only put out the highest quality of work. 

Music for me is for healing, it's for expression and meditation. It's for fun. If we can't show that in our creation, what have we become and why are we doing music? 

Fuck people, fuck the industry and fuck these games. Just keep doing music for you and for a purer purpose than putting pretty things on your wall.

It's a fairly popular instrument here in the midwest down from chicago to missouri, tennessee and new orleans. Everywhere else its a bit rare. I got mine from Russia from this guy https://youtu.be/VocILwUpdHQ He builds them in his basement.
