미국의 금리 인하(Big Cut).. 과거의 금리가 그립다
안녕하세요. 아마군(@skuld2000) 입니다.

코로나19 사태로 인한 전세계 성장률 둔화가 기정 사실이 되면서 결국 미국 중앙은행인 연방준비제도(Fed·연준)가 사전 예고 없이 기준금리를 0.50%포인트 인하하는 ‘빅 컷(Big cut)’을 단행했습니다. 
긴급 금리 인하도, 한꺼번에 0.50%포인트를 낮춘 것도 글로벌 금융위기가 닥쳤던 2008년 이후 처음인데 그만큼 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증이 미국 및 글로벌 경제에 큰 타격을 주고 있다는 뜻이죠.
이로 인해 미국의 기준 금리는 1.00%~1.25% 까지 내려온 상황입니다.

이는 얼마 전 코로나 사태에도 불구하고 기준 금리를 동결 시킨 우리나라에게도 큰 압박으로 작용할 겁니다.
다음 달 결정 될 기준금리의 인하 방향성에 큰 영향을 주겠죠.
현재 1.25%인 기준 금리가 1.00% 대로 내려올 가능성이 커 보입니다.
물가 상승률 고려하면 맡기는게 손해인 상황이죠..

까마득히 오래전인 1980년 은행 금리표입니다.
1년 단위 정기 예금 금리가 무려 24%!!
100만원 넣으면 1년에 24 만원이 늘어났댑니다.
재형저축 5년 짜리는 무려 36.5% 구요.
하... 지금도 이렇게 받을 수만 있다면 코인판에 넣은 돈 다 빼서 은행에 넣는게 나을 것 같네요.ㅎㅎ

금리는 유동성을 반영하는 것이죠.  결국 저 금리가 온다면 아마도 내 주머니에는 넣을 돈이 없을 가능성이 매우매우 높겠죠
