Is Bit Coin going down!?

I have been watching the price of Bitcoin today, semi-disinterested, going up and up. Then I decided to pull the trigger and buy around $30 worth of BTC. Around the time I finally had everything set up, it was sitting at $3450.01 USD. 
So I make my investment, have the coin transfer, and go back to hit refresh on the chart:

BOOM! It's already down $13. I started to kind of panic...Did I just deal the DeathBlow to Bitcoin? Just like that?
It crept farther and farther while I kept frantically mashing that refresh button. 

After about 30 mins of bandwidth destroying Refresh, I noticed it has finally gotten back up to a new high, $3461.99...

Thankfully. I am certain I should probably buy a little more, but I don't know if I like the risk. What do you guys think? Is it worth it at small amounts?

I would suggest you to buy for 5$ every day. Which will eventually evens out the profit and loss if any.
