I read a fun post about technical babble today, which compared the confusion or difficulty communicating when an expert gives a lecture on a new technology using words that were invented to describe this new technology and how it works. Because these are new words, they need to be explained using old words whose meaning is known, the meaning of the new words is known. 

But the humor is when the new technology is explained using the new words. Now the audience who came to learn about the new technology has no clue what the new words mean, even if they are old words with new definitions. The effect is still the same, a blank look.
