we hope you had a great start into the new year, 2018.

We did and we already worked pretty hard to bring you a new Feature for @smartmarket.

<h1>Buy Votes from multiple Vote-Sellers at once</h1>

Before today - when you requested a vote - we would look for a specific Vote-Seller to fill your request and vote only with this Vote-Seller. Which resulted in only a few Vote-Sellers getting used for voting constantly, which then resulted in the VotingPower getting drained.

We solved this problem with a new Feature, which enables you to receive Votes from different Vote-Sellers, at once.

This will also result in Vote-Sellers with lower Vote-Values having their Vote sold more often.

You transfer @smartmarket a specified amount of SBD / STEEM and your Post-Link as MEMO and will receive then Votes on your Post equal to the amount you sent. (about 2.3-2.55x the amount - STEEM will be converted to SBD)

If we can't fill everything, then the rest will be refunded to you!

You can do this simply through the STEEMIT / BUSY Wallet or by visiting <a href="https://smartsteem.com">smartsteem.com</a> and by clicking on **buy upvotes**.

Additionally, you will find on smartsteem.com the total amount of Vote-Values combined.

<h2>Temporary Change for Vote-Sellers: 80% Max. Voting-Power Threshold</h2>

We also made the temporary change for Vote-Sellers that the VotingPower at which your Vote will be used will be the minimum of 80%.

We hope through this to bring the Voting-Power of our highest Vote-Seller back to over 60% (which went down to 15%) and which reduced the Vote-Value dramatically.

This change should last only about 3-4 more days.
