Hii everyone. I'm so excited to be part of this week's contest. Before I continue,I would like to invite @merit.ahama to *Ladies of hive.* I'll be answering the first question;

-What was your position (in terms of birth) in the family? How did that experience help you become, or hinder you from becoming, a successful adult?

## **My Position In The Family.**

I am the third out of four children. I have two elder brothers and a younger sister. Growing up, I always thought that I was not treated fairly. Because, I was assigned to do almost all the house chores. 

Later on, my mom made me realize that being the first daughter came with so many duties and responsibilities. She also made me realize that I have a younger sister who looked up to me. 

Being the first daughter also has it's own advantages and priviledges. I was always in charge of the kitchen whenever my mom was not around. Which means that I was free to cook any food of my choice. I was also allowed to make suggestions on important family matters.  I  learnt how to respect my elder brothers in order to be respected.

## **How My Experience Made Me a Successful Person.**

As an adult, I wouldn't say I had the best childhood. We all had our ups and downs growing up. Mine was kind of enclosed. That is, my siblings and I were not given enough freedom. We were not allowed to play outdoors like most children. We were always indoors. My dad made sure we had time to play but most of the time, we were made to study our books. I became studious at an early age. 

My experience made me a successful and a better person. Because, till now, my younger sister still looks up to me for advice and even though I'm older than her with three years, She takes me as her second mother.

Being studious from a young age also gave me advantage over some of my peers. Because now, I can study for straight hours without getting tired.

Also, the responsibilities I had as the first daughter shaped me into becoming independent. Now, as an undergraduate, I cook my own food without depending on restuarants.

Hola a todos. Estoy muy emocionada de ser parte del concurso de esta semana. Antes de continuar, me gustaría invitar a @merit.ahama a Ladies of hive. Estaré respondiendo la primera pregunta;

-¿Cuál era su posición (en términos de nacimiento) en la familia? ¿Cómo le ayudó esa experiencia a convertirse en un adulto exitoso o le impidió convertirse en un adulto exitoso?

## **Mi posición en la familia.**

Soy el tercero de cuatro hijos. Tengo dos hermanos mayores y una hermana menor. Al crecer, siempre pensé que no me trataban de manera justa. Porque me asignaron a hacer casi todas las tareas de la casa.

Más tarde, mi mamá me hizo darme cuenta de que ser la primera hija implicaba muchos deberes y responsabilidades. También me hizo darme cuenta de que tengo una hermana menor que me admiraba.

Ser la primera hija también tiene sus propias ventajas y privilegios. Siempre estaba a cargo de la cocina cuando mi mamá no estaba. Lo que significa que era libre de cocinar cualquier alimento de mi elección. También se me permitió hacer sugerencias sobre asuntos familiares importantes. Aprendí a respetar a mis hermanos mayores para ser respetado.

## **Cómo mi experiencia me convirtió en una persona exitosa.**

Como adulto, no diría que tuve la mejor infancia. Todos tuvimos nuestros altibajos mientras crecíamos. La mía estaba un poco cerrada. Es decir, a mis hermanos ya mí no nos dieron suficiente libertad. No se nos permitía jugar al aire libre como la mayoría de los niños. Siempre estábamos adentro. Mi papá se aseguraba de que tuviéramos tiempo para jugar, pero la mayor parte del tiempo nos obligaban a estudiar nuestros libros. Me volví estudioso a una edad temprana.

Mi experiencia me hizo una persona exitosa y mejor. Porque, hasta ahora, mi hermana menor todavía me busca para recibir consejos y, aunque soy mayor que ella con tres años, me toma como su segunda madre.

Ser estudioso desde una edad temprana también me dio ventaja sobre algunos de mis compañeros. Porque ahora puedo estudiar durante horas seguidas sin cansarme.

Además, las responsabilidades que tuve como primera hija me moldearon para ser independiente. Ahora, como estudiante universitario, cocino mi propia comida sin depender de los restaurantes.
