No Creation Without Created

<p>Welcome to my blog my wonderful readers! Today, i will try to explore an important topic that relegate any ego that man might have. By man, i mean human being not gender based!</p>

<p>The topic above suggest there is a creation and created. You are possibly thinking: what is this guy up to this time around? Well, i intend to explain that what we do is nothing but recycling of the already created materials.</p>
<p>Recently, i was reflecting of the creation of things by God and at the same time, creation of things by man. It is possible for you to think God creates and man creates. But you need to ask yourself: do man create truly?</p>
<p>From the books we read and also evident in the Holy Books, God created everything with 'simple' command: Let there be! Everything God commanded to be 'be'! He said let there be light and there is light. He created everything that from that simple command.</p>
<p>After creating everything, he gave them names and Adam named the animals. This means the creator of anything gives the thing a name.&nbsp;</p>
<p>On the part of man, he lay claims to creation. It is not a mere claim but from the fact of many inventions, man can also claim to be a creator. We invented&nbsp; bulbs, cars, aircraft, machines for building different things. Houses, lift, water tanks, bags, shoes, etc., are creations of man. This we can say, is a product of man's imaginations.</p>
<p>But have you asked: can man create without the 'created'? That is, can we have cars, aircraft, shoes, cloths, etc., if there was no 'matter' to create them? We use raw materials to make another thing. We join different matter together to form another concrete matter.</p>
<p>I am not here to deny the fact that man can be given some credits because it takes lot of thinking to come up with these amazing inventions. However, can we have them without the materials used in making them?</p>
<p>Perhaps, i need to use the proper word which is 'NOTHING'! Can man make or create ANYTHING from NOTHING?&nbsp;</p>
<p>When you read the creation story, you will notice that the Supreme Being commanded or created EVERYTHING from NOTHING! He said 'be' and things came to be. This is a quality that man lacks. Man create SOMETHING&nbsp; from SOMETHING.</p>

<p>It is also possible to argue further on the topic of discussion that 'nothing' is itself something. A powerful piece by &nbsp;Professor Jim Ijenwa Unah titled: <em><strong>Even nothing is something: an inaugural lecture delivered at the University of Lagos,</strong></em> argues that the idea of 'nothing' suggest something.</p>
<p>Now, this is a topic under phenomenology (read about it if you must) and sub topic under Metaphysics (to be explored in the nearest future) which looks at imaginations or concepts behind terms or topics.</p>
<p>In philosophy, there is this logical proposition which says: nothing creates itself. This logical proposition suggest that for something to exist, it must be created. This is logically true because you can not think of a being that brought himself (or itself) into existence. That is, to imagine that a man came to be by creating himself. This proposition looks logical if you ask me.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I believe Unah's piece is an attempt to debunk the logicality in that logic by claiming the idea of nothing suggest something.&nbsp;</p>
<p>His argument:</p>
<p><strong>If there is 'nothing' from which something was created, it means there is 'nothing' from which every other thing was created. If this 'nothing' serves as the foundation of that something, it means there is 'nothing' which exist and from which everything was created!</strong></p>
<p>Did you get the logic above? Let's try again! There is a claim that nothing can be created from nothing which is logically true for man. However, the Supreme Being created everything from nothing which means there is a problem with man's logical claim as the idea of the Supreme Being's creations negate it. So it logically means that 'that which we call 'nothing' is itself 'something' because it is what everything was created from'!</p>
<p>So Unah clearly brought out the metaphysical nature of the word 'nothing' which suggest that it is what everything was created from and by virtue of that it is itself a thing.</p>
<p>Now, to man, everything he created or ever invented are simply products of creations of the Supreme Being. Logically, this suggest we do not create in the proper sense of it but only recycled. We pick the created materials, recreate it and make it ours or claim to be the creator of the new thing. By virtue of this, we give that which we created names and functions. If part of a car is used for something else, it must obey the rules and functions given to the new thing by its creator or inventor.</p>
<p>I am of the opinion that we claim to be a creator but in the true sense of the word or in reality, we only recycled that which was created and claim to be their creators.</p>
<p>You have every right and whatever argument you can come up with to debunk the claim above. Try and be philosophical enough to debunk my view above.</p>

You are very correct with this,  a supreme being deserves all the glory. Every thing man has invented today are all borrowed concepts from a creator. After all this, yet people believe in evolution, not creation

I can agree with that...becos most creativities are created from existing ones. 

This is what I termed plagiarised creativities. 
Unplagiarised ones exist but few.

People want original content, everyday they scream originality, forgetting that even the word originality isn't theirs. I will keep posting what i know and whoever refuses to see my own part  of recreating the original content, then no problems.  Let me not go further. Thanks for sharing bro.
