There is no doubt that suffering is real. Many people suffer as a result of their inability to cater and take good care of themselves due to lack of money.

Money is a factor responsible for trade. It is a link to exchange. If you have money, you can buy anything provided it is up for sale.

This money is an asset on its own. Those who have money have little or no worry. They focus more on increasing their wealth instead of being worried about hunger or lack of food.

But the accumulation of money or wealth is not equal. I guess we shouldn't expect it to be since our fingers are not equal.

In this race of accumulating wealth, some accumulate more than they needed and the majority are left with the remaining to which they must share among themselves. 

The result is hunger and poverty. In some cases, abject poverty. 

Poverty means to be extremely poor. It is a condition that goes beyond monetary value as one can be mentally poor. But in this case, we look at it in relation to people suffering from hunger all over the world. 

Hunger is the desire to eat but with no food. The result of this is feeling of discomfort or weakness.

While there is no gainsaying in the fact that the world is suffering from hunger, the suffering is higher in some countries than others.

The above is a proof that hunger is world problem and is not a respecter of any nation.

While there are poor people in every nation no matter how big or small, Africa seem to have the highest hunger problem worldwide.

Africa's poverty statistic shows that around 40% of people in Africa live below $1.90 a day. This is alarming! 

Perhaps you are wondering what on earth will $1.90 do for you in a day but the sad truth is that many in Africa can't even have it a day.

In Europe on the other hand, 21.7% are estimated to be suffering from hunger. This is almost half of what the African countries are facing.

With the above fact about hunger and poverty, is it still wise to eat and spend flamboyantly when the world is suffering?

If you earn $200-$500 a day, don't you think certain amount should be for charity to reduce this suffering from lack of food?

100$ is too small for some people to eat at once but there are people who need just 5% to eat twice a day and they will be okay. 

Should such money be divided into half and send out to others who are suffering from hunger? 

Hunger is real and only those who have experienced it can tell how bad it is to experience it. 

The world will be better if we consider those who have not eaten anything since yesterday. It will go a long way if we can spend little of our money on charitable stuffs.

I am not saying we can solve this problem but I strongly believe we can reduce it to around 5% if we consider those around us and in other places before we buy those expensive cars, cloths, and eating so largely.

The world need you and only you can make the deserved change. If you have money, think of others who don't have. If you have wealth, use it to better the lives of many who don't have a dime but live from hand to mouth.
