**@steemonboarding** is a new multi-lingual marketing project designed to introduce content creators and curators to the Steem blockchain. WW is a new contest series aimed at discovering a handful of newcomers each Wednesday - and providing an overlap between experience levels across this growing crypto ecosystem.

**Discover a Newb** - Let’s face it, right now the blockchain is a tough place to be discovered and find your way. There’s a lot of empowering resources here to learn about, but it’s difficult to keep track of who knows what, when and where. With this ongoing contest we’re asking experienced Steemians to welcome newbies in the comment section, below. Here’s how to play:

* Write a short (2-3 sentence) introduction about a newbie you’ve discovered [rep of 49 or lower] in the comment section, below. 
* Share a link to a recent “hello” or #introduceyourself style post by that same newcomer (this newbie link must have been published within the last 6 days). Please include it along with your short introduction.

Today, our curation team will browse the comment section of this post looking for inspiring and thoughtful newbies. This contest will last 24 hours. We’ll upvote the newcomer (their "hello" post that you link to, below). **Pay it forward, share some upvote love with a blockchain newbie!**

I’d like to introduce a new couple. They started their account at January 23rd but they introduced themselves only recently 4 days ago with their introduction post. This couple run into each other in a way only Hollywood could script it like this, but this was real life. Hi, I love this initiative, it reminds me of finding time to check out some of the newbies and if possible to offer them some help and guidance!

I discovered a few of the great new entries, I would go for @discouragedones who is a talented [musician](https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@discouragedones/hello-steem-community-i-just-created-my-new-account-and-my-first-post-introduction) but he has already some friends over here so I am mentioning @wakme who is reminding me of me .. 
He (not sure but anyways..) is asking a bunch of questions, which means he has already read a bunch and new he is starting to combine all the information :) Just like I was doing back in the days

[@jeronimoverdun](https://steemit.com/@jeronimoverdun) is relatively new to the platform but has seen great success as he is actively participating in open mics around the ecosystem!  It wasn’t until now that he was able to formally [introduce himself]([https://steemit.com/dtube/@jeronimoverdun/hcy9enwt](https://steemit.com/dtube/@jeronimoverdun/hcy9enwt)) to the community.  He has been in the music industry for over ten years and enjoys to create and perform music in the mix of rock, jazz and funk genres with his band Raizarbol.  Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina they have been able to travel throughout South America to share their talents as he intends to do here on the platform!
