Hello everyone. In the past months, I have introduced you to many interesting animals. I realized that I haven't made such a promotion for a while, and I decided to introduce you to Emperor Tamarin.

It lives in the Amazon region south of Peru in South America. It lives on trees in the forest, feeding on fruit, various plant nectars and insects. Their claws and hands are very developed at catching and holding objects. Thanks to their claws, they break the roots of plants and eat the gum that comes out of them they can eat. They are among the smallest known apes. He has the characteristic long white beard and mustache, which is quite interesting.

They live in social groups of 4-20 individuals. The dominant female in the group mates with several different males. At the end of 140-145 days of gestation, the dominant female gives birth to twins. All members of the group assist the mother in caring for and transporting the cubs.

>*4-20 bireyden oluşan sosyal grup içinde yaşarlar. Grup içerisinde baskın olan dişi birkaç farklı erkekle çiftleşir. 140-145 günlük gebelik sonunda baskın dişi ikiz yavru doğurur. Grubun tüm üyeleri yavruların bakımı ve taşınması konusunda anneye yardımcı olur.*

What strikes me most about these animals is that they have long white beards and mustaches, and that they are a matriarchal species, unlike other animals that live in groups.
