I knew that the mountains around the city of Los Teques, Miranda state (Venezuela), were surely very beautiful because you can see them from afar, but only when I went into them for a hike with a group was that I could check my impression. >*Yo sabía que las montañas en los alrededores de la ciudad de Los Teques, estado Miranda (Venezuela), seguramente eran muy bonitas porque se ve a lo lejos, pero sólo cuando me adentré en ellas para hacer una caminata con un grupo fue que pude comprobar mi impresión.* <liketuimages> <center></center> Our hike began in the town of San Pedro de Los Altos, which is near Los Teques, there everything was uphill and landscapes full of crops, these lands are very fertile, here they grow coffee, potatoes, vegetables, flowers, medicinal plants, among other crops. >*Nuestra caminata se inició en el pueblo de San Pedro de Los Altos, que queda cerca de Los Teques, por allí todo fue subida y paisajes repletos de sembradíos, estas tierras son muy fértiles, aquí se siembra café, papa, legumbres, flores, plantas medicinales, entre otros cultivos.*  The morning was super sunny but as the climate in this region is cool, we still didn’t feel so hot. Many areas of these mountains are affected by fires. >*La mañana estaba súper soleada pero como en esta región el clima es fresco, aún no sentíamos tanto calor.
