SteemDance - Distance

<center><h3>When I started dancing in @sirwinchester ´s dance company 6 years ago, I absolutely hated the freestyle training. It was based on free moves to songs you maybe never heard about ….&nbsp;</h3>

<p>I was the<strong> little blonde curly hair angel</strong> around 10-20 other „<em>Gangster</em>“ street styler, that is what I used to call them because all the girls and boys were so „<em>cool</em>“ …<em> Do you know what I mean? </em>Just imagine<strong> little soldier with long curly white blonde hair and no experiences in freestyle dancing</strong> at all, around with girls who had a <em>short hair cut, colored from black to blond, baggy pants, famous sneakers , dreadlocks, Chicago Bulls Caps</em> and <em>cool guys</em> who I never met before in my life. I was so <strong>scared</strong>, mostly because I was so happy to join these „<em>cool kids</em>“ and I was shy to experiment with my body. They got the<em> flow, incredible moves </em>and not to forget <em>the attitude </em>!!!!!&nbsp;</p>
<p>I often got<strong> thrown in into the deep end</strong> by SirWinchester. <em>Does anyone knows the game bottle flipping?</em> <em>When you throw a bottle into a circle and it stops in front of someone, he/she has to do ta specific challenge?</em> And now I was chosen to do a freestyle with 20-40 eyes watching me. I felt so bad because I knew my moves weren´t the best but I <strong>kept going</strong>. I <strong>never gave up</strong> and also trained <em>at home, in school, in every free minute</em> I had. I also created a personal dance studio at home and disappeared for hours sometimes just<em> dancing around, forget the present </em>and was to <em>practice some new skills.</em>&nbsp;</p>

<p>Here<strong> 6 years later,</strong> I can proudly call myself a<strong> teacher in freestyle and also in choreography.</strong> I overtook the people I was scared about in the past years because I kept training and they gave up or hadn't had enough time. <em>( Which I cant understand because I live in another city and still got to manage to be at every single dance class since 6 years! )&nbsp;</em></p>
<p><em>Anyway</em>, freestyle is combined with <em>attitude, creativity, spontaneity and good hearing</em>. When a song comes on and you never heard it before, just take a few bouncers and a few minutes to get into the rhythm. Nothing is as bad as dancing <strong>off beat!!!!!!!!!!</strong> Also - Play with your eyes. Look the audience into the eyes or into their direction. Get into the right mood and feel comfortable in your skin. Never be shy because a freestyle can never be wrong! @sirwinchester taught me amazing stuff and I am glad that I am able to represent him in his classes when he gets sick or anything similar like that.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Today was a quite empty class - we are normally more than 10-12 people in the dance class but hip hop dancers are always late so more people arrived after this video was filmed. SirWinchester put on a song and this was time to film a video for my <strong>Steemit followers</strong>! The song was groovy and had a little<em> african/spanish</em> style to it. I love to move to a different kind of music but this song was just too nice… I saw myself on a<em> white beach around a few friends, drinking cocktails and hearing noises from the ocean. &nbsp;&nbsp;</em></p>

<p>After the freestyle training also @mrs.steemit arrived and we <em>( @sirwinchester, @mrs.steemit and I )</em> prepared the dancers for an upcoming event where we may attend but I will talk about that later. &nbsp;It was so much fun because we also got to train our condition and were sweating like hell ….&nbsp;</p></center>
