Ce samedi, j’ai fait les descentes de l’Ardèche en canoé.
Les gorges de l’Ardèche s’étendent de Vallon pont d’arc et saint marcel d’Ardèche. 
Le département Ardèche doit son nom à la rivière qui la traverse. 
Les gorges de l’Ardèche ont été creusées par ce cours d’eau d’une longueur de 125 kilomètres.
 Le canyon fait 32 kilomètres, se faufile sinueusement entre les falaises de calcaire.

This Saturday, I made the descents of the Ardèche by canoe. 
The gorges of Ardèche extend of Vallon pont d’arc and Saint martin d’Ardèche.
The department Ardèche owes its name to the river which crosses it.
The gorges of the Ardèche have been dug by this 125 km long river.
This 32 kilometer canyon sneaks sinuously between the cliffs of limestone.**

Nous avons pris la descente de 32 KM, le loueur nous donne quelques consignes de sécurité, nos gilets, un container étanche pour nos affaires et un canoé 2 places. Nous prenons places dans le bus pour se diriger vers l’embarcadère.
**We took the 32 KM descent, the rental company gives us some safety instructions, our vests, a waterproof container for our stuff and a 2-seater canoe.  We take places in the bus to head towards the landing stage.**

La rivière avec son puissant débit à creuser dans la roche une arche de 60 mètres de haut, c’est l’un des sites les plus exceptionnels de France.

L’œuvre la plus spectaculaire est le fameux « pont d’arc », c’est la porte d’entrée des gorges.
**The most spectacular work is the famous "bridge of arc", it is the door of entry of the gorges.**

Et nous voici sur l’eau, hélas, je n’ai pas un téléphone étanche donc la plus grande partie de la journée, il était caché dans son étui étanche, heureusement car nous avons été plus souvent dans l’eau que sur le canoé au plus grand désespoir de ma femme, car bien sûr c’était soi-disant de ma faute à chaque fois qu’on tombait dans l’eau.

**And here we are on the water, alas, I don't have a waterproof phone so most of the day, it was hidden in its waterproof case, fortunately because we were more often in the water than on the canoe to my wife's despair, because of course it was supposedly my fault every time we fell in the water.**
