### Big Time RGP game
Big Time is a Web 3 NFT game based on RGP-style play. You can play for FREE and grind and get some random NFT drops. The graphics are good and it looks more like a web 2.0 game. Big time just came in 2nd place for the Game of the Year 2024 (Blockchain Game Award)!!

The game is still in beta and I believe they need a general release and onboard more players. With all games, the more players, the better. This is true when it comes to NFT gaming since you need a marketplace that is active with both buyers, sellers and those that can RENT other people's assets.


### Making Money
In Big time, there are many ways to make money. You can play2earn and hope to get some random NFT drop. Some items are worth a few dollars to several hundred dollars.

You can go into a special portal where you can get BigTime tokens. To get in, you need to have the required NFT cosmetic item on your character. This is a unique way for the game to encourage players to invest in the different cosmetics for sale.

The game also have "land" and buildings that can be used to upgrade items to the next level. This is a way to encourage moving up or progressing up to the next level.

You can rent any NFT items you own. Here is my sample for Dec 2024:

I generally only rent the items that I'm not using currently. As of DEC 2024, the ROI is about 11-12 months on the time warden. It is harder to make money on Weapons/Armor cosmetics because I think there are plenty available, especially for anything below Legendary.

The game has changed over the last year. Previously, some players would collect land and collect Cracked Hourglass and convert that into BT tokens. Our you can add time onto hourglasses and SELL or RENT those out to other players.

### PVP - What next?
PVP was recently released and that might have created some buzz around the game. Coming in 2nd in Game of the Year for 2024 also helps bring new eyeballs. The key to NFT gaming is a fun, enjoyable experience where the assets purchased can hold their value over time. Making money is often NOT the primary driver of gamers. It is just a nice bonus when an asset can hold its value or gain value over time.

2025 might be the ALT season everyone is looking for. With BITCOIN crossing over 100K, it might bring more people back into the ALT coins and look at NFT projects again. If that is true, then 2025 can be an important year for any Web 3.0 game.

I'm playing other games at the moment, but I feel that Big Time and Open Loot have a better chance of adding/increasing value in 2025. This can set the stage for 2026. In order games, the tokenomic often are broken and it is much harder to create value for most of the players. They often struggle with the same issue like with the printing of FIAT dollars.
