# How to set a goal and why I am not afraid to lose.

Hello! If you are reading these lines - it means I'm writing this for a reason. So  not in vain I made a few hours this text in my mother tongue language, and then tried to translate it into English. Not in vain.

And if so, then I continue to tell interesting ideas and concepts that have helped change the lives of me and other people.

**Today I want to draw a line between the goals and dreams.** I want to show how important to have a specific goal and how important to start moving toward her. I want you to reach results!

Many people confuse objectives with common wishes. They want a better life, a comfortable car, a beautiful house and find love. But any desire lies within the framework of thoughts and dreams. Thinking about the desired, many fall asleep with a smile. But tomorrow they will wake up and they will be surrounded by all the same tiresome reality. Nothing will change.

**Do you know what distinguishes the goal of desire? Specifics and action!** When you know exactly what you want and make steps in this direction - you are sure to get the result. And whatever the outcome is always better than just theoretical thinking and dreams. The result is material, its effects can be felt, realize and experience. It is important!

Now I'll show you **a very simple technique of goal setting. It is called SMART.**

## So, when you set a goal, it must be:

* **S - Specific.** Your goal should be specific. You should know exactly what you want. My goal, for example, a certain amount of money.

* **M - Measurable.** Your goal should be measurable. You need to express it in numbers. I've already set for myself - $ 100,000.

* **A - Attainable.** Here you need to be very careful! Do not cling to your current situation, you is important to know only the fact - whether it is real or not. For example, fly to Mars tomorrow - probably unrealistic. But to buy a Porsche for a year - it is! It does not matter what state you are now! It is important that you know exactly what your goal is - theoretically possible. I have appointed myself $ 100,000, do you think it will be easy? No. But I know that it's real! Therefore, I believe!

* **R - Relevant.** Similarly, if that's what you want? Whether this goal is with your values match? Will it help improve your life? For me, $ 100,000 - it will be a new level.

* **T - Time-bound.** Probably the most important thing - to decide in due course. Which number do you want to achieve your goal? For me, this July 25, 2017.

When you formulate the goal of all these items, you'll have a very specific purpose. You will need to burn it and start doing all possible steps to achieve it.

My goal is:

**Because I've already won!** I've got some results! No, I'm not talking about money. They are still very, very little. I'm talking about something else:

1. I learned a few English words and learned how to use an online translator.
2. I have published several articles that can benefit people.
3. I have received feedback and comments and realized that it was not all in vain!

**So I wish you never give up! Believe in yourself! Put ambitious goals and achieve them!**
