This is not a walk from the last days, but I decided to share it just now with you for various reasons π First of all, we are currently in the midst of summer in the Northern Hemisphere. So I guess everyone is in desperate need of coolness and shade. All the people crammed into the big cities dominated by a jungle of concrete and glass. And I have some trees and plants here to show. And there is no more effective remedy against the great heat than a park in which they are located. The second reason I want to show you this walk of mine is that if you've read some of my other posts here, you'll probably know that they're pretty unusual. Mainly because on the streets of the country where I live, unusual things are constantly encountered π. And they are just waiting to be discovered, seen and documented. So, we are in a park of a town I have already visited a couple of times and this is the information plaque of one of its huge parks (the settlement is known for being one of the greenest cities in my country).  The sign is in a pretty shabby state, although it shouldn't be very old, but we're not going to pay attention to those small and insignificant things today, right? π Because in this beautiful place, various interesting things could be found and seen.  And I'm starting with the first one on my way:  This is something special I didn't expect to see this day at all. Let alone in this strange, deteriorated and unmaintained place. It's **a time capsule**. And I have to say, this is the first time capsule I've seen in my life.  It is carved on top that it should be opened on September 2, 2047. And I know why that is. Because this city was built in 1947. So the capsule should be opened on the centenary.  Moving on, along the paths, we will discover many other things. And you have already seen some of them too. There are several ponds.  Monument memorial to the poet, after whom the park is named - PeΓ±o Penev. Ok, no - Penyo Penev is a more accurate spelling.  ---  Some strange antenna placed on an equally unexpected house at one end of the park that could compete with the poet's monument. π  The decoration in the concrete pavement.  Then we look above to see the beautiful tree crowns that so generously provide us with their shade.  And we see the contrast between them and relatively new lamps.  Then we look down and see... what do we see here? I was quite surprise to see this ornamented vessel here.  Placed probably for decoration. But actually used for something else. π€  Then are these broken lamps.  But let's finish this series with something pleasant and very funny:  *(Do you see what I'm seeing? π)* Wait, that's not the end! I told you I'll show you plants and freshness, greenery in this hot weather. And here it is - the main culprit of this post:  Because this arched pergola, half-covered with plants...  first - it always provides you with a sense of coolness, I guess.  And second - this kind of a tunnel formed by construction and creeping plants is quite mysterious. Don't you think? π€  Therefore, I walked several times its entire length - forward and backward.  Hoping it was some sort of time tunnel - a door between two dimensions.  Why not? It has all the necessary requirements for that. And perhaps most of all, the fact that it is located in such a run-down place.  Well, I was left disappointed at the end, of course. There was no travel in time, despite the time capsule and the possible time machine. Very beautifully narrated walk! I also saw a time capsule in Obzor for the first time 2 weeks ago and was impressed. I've visited Dimitrovgrad dozens of times over the years and always found it very noisy and dirty (probably because I came to the Sunday market). Oh, really? π€ I passed through Obzor this year, during our tour on the Black Sea coast. We drank a coffee in some not very comfortable and pleasant, but expensive "cafe" in the city center π, then we walked along the streets and the coast, but apparently we missed seeing this time capsule there.
