I am glad to read you have an affinity with spiders. 

I am scared of them and they have funny ways of just bringing that fear out. The most recent encounter was when I drove on the cliffside mountain road last weekend. A huge  half the size of my hand huntsman spider popped in front of the windshield. Imagine my loud scream while I held on tightly to the steering wheel. Luckily it was outside  but it stayed there on the windshield crawling all over the side windows enjoying the breeze. Guess what, this happened twice so I reckon this spider lives in the car. 😁

OMG, huntsman spider! Just checked it on Wikipedia 😲 I'm so glad I live in an area where spiders are not that big! 
I can say that I "have an affinity" for completely harmless domestic spiders - those of the harvestmen species. And also some of the garden species. And that's just because I have a phobia of other types of insects 😄(mostly the creeping ones). I see them as my guardians - of course, they don't crawl on me, they just live somewhere in the corners of the ceiling.
Here I am terrified of other animals. For example, some species of skolopendra, which I have already come across few times. And of course, I'm also terrified of snakes when you ask about animals in general.

The garden benefits of spiders made me less scared of them since they seem to be busy on their own web. We have a lot of huntsman spiders in the Philippines. One lived in a garden watering can for a while and it would crawl on my arm every time I filled it with water. They move really fast. The loud scream and thud of dropping the can usually wake up the neighbors lol. 

The creeping ones in the corners of the house, are they lizards? I'd freak out if they were centipedes 😨.

Spiders are harmless really... But I don't appreciate them crawling on my body even by chance so I get rid of them before that happens🥺

Yes, of course, 😁 I like them only as much as they don't come close to me and do their work somewhere far away from me. But I leave the completely harmless house spiders at home because they have work to do here. If they didn't have a job, they wouldn't live here. And after all, this is their home too. But when they get a lot, I just collect them in a container and take them outside to the garden.
