<p>I been seeing a lot of people posting about something called the Mandela Effect. &nbsp;&nbsp;I had noticed a few posts related to the CERN hadron collider that caught my attention and began to dive in. Here is what I found out.&nbsp;</p>

<h1><strong>What is the Mandela Effect?</strong></h1>
<p>The Mandela Effect is a phenomenon where large numbers of people share false memories of past events. &nbsp;Some have speculated that the memories are caused by parallel universes spilling into our own, while others explain the phenomenon as a failure of collective memory.</p>
<p>In 2010, blogger <strong>Fiona Broome</strong> coined the term “<em>Mandela Effect</em>” to describe a collective false memory she discovered at the Dragon Con convention, where many believed that former South African President Nelson Mandela died during his imprisonment in the 1980s. &nbsp;She and others remember the news stories of his death, image clips of his funeral and the mourning in South Africa, as well as riots in the cities and a speech by his widow, only to find out he was still alive. &nbsp;(Having died since Nov 5th 2013) &nbsp;</p>
<p>Broome launched the mandelaeffect.com website and also describes other widely held false memories, including various nonexistent <strong>Star Trek</strong> episodes, the death of the Reverend <strong>Billy Graham</strong> and the spelling of the popular childrens book and cartoon series <strong>The Berenstein Bears</strong>. &nbsp;&nbsp;Since then videos have been exploding all over the internet from people finding more and more things false memories they are relating to the Mandela Effect. &nbsp;</p>
<h1>Some of my favorite examples of Mandela Effect.&nbsp;</h1>

<h2>1. Is it Oscar Meyer or Oscar Mayer?</h2>

Thank you for reminding what the Mandela effect is. I heard of that but mixed up with things like the 100th Monkey effect. Do you know what that is? If I remember correctly, if there are 100 monkeys on an Island and they all learn a new skill,  a new way to catch food or something. The skill will automatically jump to another Island, and basically the species as a whole evolves. As in there is something in the air, a mysterious power of passing information that we as humans have barely stumbled upon. 

I've picked up information like this, by from the alternative media. I'm 34 and really stopped watching TV when I was 16. I'm a budget traveler and have been living out of backpack for over 10 years. very awesome.  I never heard of the monkey effect direct but I have heard of something up that alley very interesting.   Like I heard a theory or something about this is why there are similar type pyramids in different places on the planet.   But then again there are so many theories for everything, its really overwhelming.   I love the fact that you are living out of a backpack, I think that is a dream of mine, just free, into the wild type stuff really.   Life in this new age of tech and information, to much information things are difficult to manage on our brains.   sometimes just sitting in the sun under a tree with a slight breeze or feet in the river with that cold clear rolling water and fresh air is just the place to re charge re zen if you will and just Be ... following you now and will upvote
