# THE COCKROACH

***As darkness does fall
The creepies do crawl
Out of the cupboards
And all up the wall.
All over the floor
Yes, it’s true what they say
For each one you see
There’s a million more.***

And six little legs
A flat little body
They lay lots of eggs.***

Some wish to destroy nests
Calling pesticide firms.
But not all cockroaches are bad
Some are endangered
And that is quite sad.
Some people keep them as exotic pets
The Hissing roach – as big as it gets.***
