Hola queridas compañeras de la comunidad, quiero compartir mi participación en el concurso comunitario, para mí, el empoderamiento de las mujeres es la promoción de la igualdad de género, donde todas tenemos el derecho y la capacidad de tomar decisiones sobre nuestras vidas, significa sentirnos seguras y libres de expresarnos y hacer lo que deseamos, personalmente, el empoderamiento femenino me ha enseñado a reconocer mi propio valor y a tener la confianza para desafiar las normas tradicionales de género.

Mis experiencias personales me han sensibilizado sobre las injusticias de género en nuestra sociedad, como periodista, veo con preocupación cómo persisten actitudes machistas que limitan el potencial de las mujeres, (marginándonos) a roles tradicionales, me preocupan especialmente los comentarios sexistas y los estereotipos de género que aún prevalecen en nuestra sociedad, por ejemplo, la idea de que las mujeres no deberían conducir porque es una actividad "para hombres", o "mejor un hombre fotógrafo, saben más", es profundamente injusta y limitante, estos comentarios y creencias refuerzan las desigualdades de género y obstaculizan el progreso hacia una sociedad más igualitaria.

Hello dear fellow community members, I want to share my participation in the community contest, for me, women empowerment is the promotion of gender equality, where we all have the right and ability to make decisions about our lives, it means feeling safe and free to express ourselves and do what we want, personally, women empowerment has taught me to recognize my own value and to have the confidence to challenge traditional gender norms.

My personal experiences have sensitized me to the gender injustices in our society, as a journalist, I see with concern how macho attitudes persist that limit the potential of women, (marginalizing us) to traditional roles, I am especially concerned about sexist comments and gender stereotypes that are still prevalent in our society, for example, the idea that women should not drive because it is an activity "for men", or "better a male photographer, they know better", is deeply unfair and limiting, these comments and beliefs reinforce gender inequalities and hinder progress towards a more egalitarian society.

Desde mi posición en la promoción cultural, abogo por una revisión profunda de estas actitudes y creencias arraigadas en estereotipos de género, creo firmemente en la importancia de desafiar y cambiar estas normas sociales obsoletas para avanzar hacia una sociedad más inclusiva y equitativa, el empoderamiento femenino es un proceso al que no todas las mujeres están dispuestas, pero para mí, ser auténtica es fundamental, me permite ser dueña de mi destino y sentirme segura en mi piel, sabiendo que tengo el poder de crear el futuro que deseo para mí y para las generaciones futuras.
