# Greetings, Dear friends once again here I continue with the repairs to my getz I have been a year already in the process of restoring the car should be working for months but working at home is the worst, if it is not the children that occupy my time is some tool that I lack and so the days go by. About 4 months ago I have the engine ready to start when I went to give ignition did not start I start to check and I see no apparent faults only note that the land was deficient, clean and sand the land well and retest and nothing. After that I had a failure with the fuel pressure and as the set I had rebuilt it I got bored and went and bought a new set in 100$ after this I presume that the failure was in the pressure regulator because now there is pressure as it should be. I give ignition again and stopped working a coil, I knew that my dad had the branch of that area spliced because one of the evils of the getz is that the coil connectors are damaged with heat, I tried to solve so that the car would start and I did not succeed so I set out to find a new coil to make it right once and for all. *** <center>  </center> *** The search cost me a little then I interrupted the activities with December and several more pending, then I got a Tucson coil that are the same but the base changes, I liked this one because it came complete with anti-noise connectors and everything that goes in that area so I bought it. It took a few more days to move it to the original base of the getz, for this I had to drill a hole in the base as one matched, I made the drilling I made thread and mount the coils on the original base. *** <center>  </center> *** In the image below you can see the difference in the bases. *** <center>  </center> *** Once this process is ready I go home with my coil to install it in the car, everything is ok, I had no problem with the spark plug wires that I thought I could be short but they fit well. It is already installed now comes the process of identifying the branch wires to connect it and now yes to turn on the car. *** <center>  </center> *** The connection in theory is simple, you just have to identify the positive that is common to both coils and take the signal cable for each one, but I will detail this process when I have it ready. Thank you for reading my lines and God bless you greatly the photos are my property taken with the Infinix Hot 10 i cell phone. *** # <center>SPANISH</center> *** # Saludos, Queridos amigos una vez más por aquí sigo con las reparaciones a mi getz llevo un año ya en proceso de restauración el auto debería estar funcionando hace meses pero trabajar en casa es lo peor, si no es los niños que me ocupan el tiempo es alguna herramienta que me falta y así se pasan los días. Hace ya unos 4 meses tengo el motor listo para prender cuando fui a dar ignición no prendió empiezo a revisar y no veo fallas aparentes solo note que la tierra estaba deficiente, limpie y lije bien las tierras y vuelvo a probar y nada. Tumbe el arranque y mandé a probar y hacer mantenimiento ahora sí gira bien, luego de eso tuve falla con la presión de combustible y como el conjunto yo lo había reconstruido me aburrí y fui y compré un conjunto nuevo en 100$ luego de esto presumo que la falla estaba en el regulador de presión porque ahora sí hay presión como debe ser. Vuelvo a dar ignición y dejo de trabajar una bobina, ya sabía que mi papá tenía el ramal de esa área empalmada porque uno de los males del getz es que se dañan con el calor los conectores de la bobina, intenté resolver para que el auto prendiera y no tuve éxito así que me dispuse a buscar una bobina nueva para que quedara bien de una vez. *** <center>  </center> *** La búsqueda me costó un poco luego interrumpí las actividades con diciembre y varios pendientes más, luego conseguí una bobina de Tucson que son iguales pero la base cambia, está me gustó porque venía completa con conectores anti ruido y todo lo que va en esa área así que la compre. Pasaron unos cuantos días más para pasarla a la base original del getz, para esto tuve que taladrar un agujero en la base ya que uno coincidía, hice la perforación le hice rosca y monte las bobinas en la base original. *** <center>  </center> *** En la imagen que les voy a colocar abajo pueden ver la diferencia en las bases. *** <center>  </center> *** Una vez listo este proceso me voy con mi bobina a casa a instalarla en el auto, todo cuadro bien no tuve problema con los cables de bujía que pensé que me podían quedar cortos pero si cuadran bien. Ya está instalada ahora viene el proceso de identificar los cables del ramal para conectarla y ahora sí a prender el auto. *** <center>  </center> *** La conexión en teoría es sencilla solo toca identificar el positivo que es común para las dos bobinas y tomar el cable de señal para cada una pero ese proceso se los detallo cuando lo tenga listo. Trabajar en casas es de lo mas complicado, herramientas o la atención que demanda la familia, te comprendo muy bien, tuve un taller para reparar computadoras en una pieza detras de casa y las interrupciones eran infinitas. Me causo gracia que te aburristes y fuistes a comprar un repuesto en 100$, eso es lo mejor comprar lo nuevo y no estar reparando a ver si funciona. Brother saludos, mira eso me ha pasado muchas veces pues hay tantas cosas que cuando son para uno las dejamos para después o nos distraemos en otros queaseres jajaja Lo bueno es que las cosas que le estás haciendo a ese carro están quedando bien, osea cuando salga a la pista no va a tener ninguna falla....
