# <center> Isla el Faro, Parque Nacional Mochima, Venezuela </center>
Saludos queridos compañeros de Hive, en esta ocasión quería compartir con ustedes un viaje familiar que hice hacia el oriente de mi país, Venezuela. El motivo del viaje era compartir familiar y aprovechando el momento hicimos un poco de turismo en la zona que teníamos bastante tempo sin visitar. Nuestro destino del día se llama Isla **El Faro**

> Greetings dear colleagues from Hive, this time I wanted to share with you a family trip that I took to the east of my country, Venezuela. The reason for the trip was to share with the family and taking advantage of the moment we did some tourism in the area that we had not visited for a long time. Our destination for the day is called Isla **El Faro**

Para comentarles un poco sobre el **Parque Nacional Mochima**, él se encuentra ubicado en la región nororiental de mi país, entre el estado Anzoátegui y estado Sucre, **entre las ciudades Puerto La cruz y Cumana específicamente**. Este parque está compuesto por una serie de islas y playas las cuales forman parte de un destino turístico maravilloso, y la isla el faro es una de ellas.
La única corma de acceder a ella es en lancha, y podemos encontrar salidas desde puerto la cruz, en el paseo colon, o desde el puerto de guanta.

> To tell you a little about the **Mochima National Park**, it is located in the northeastern region of my country, between the Anzoátegui state and the Sucre state, **specifically between the cities of Puerto La Cruz and Cumana**. This park is made up of a series of islands and beaches which are part of a wonderful tourist destination, and the island the lighthouse is one of them.
> The only way to access it is by boat, and we can find departures from Puerto La Cruz, on Paseo Colon, or from the port of Guanta.

**El tiempo aproximado**, depende de la condición del mar y la potencia de la embarcación **es de media hora o 45 minutos desde el Paseo Colon**, que fue donde tomamos la lancha para poder llegar a la isla. A diferencia de otros destinos del parque, en esta ruta no logramos ver delfines, sin embargo, la vista que tenemos desde el complejo turístico el morro hacia la zona de guanta es un excelente regalo así no veas delfines en el camino.
Esta isla es bastante fácil de reconocer por el gran faro que tiene en su punto más alto, que es visible desde casi cualquier lugar cercano a la isla, su característica forma de letra C nos permite disfrutar de aguas tranquilas, cristalinas y con una fauna marina y vegetación maravilla, siendo un destino tranquilo, ideal para disfrutar en familia.

> **The approximate time** depends on the sea conditions and the power of the boat **it is half an hour or 45 minutes from Paseo Colon**, which was where we took the boat to get to the island. Unlike other destinations in the park, on this route we were unable to see dolphins, however, the view we have from the El Morro tourist complex towards the Guanta area is an excellent gift even if you don't see dolphins along the way.
> This island is quite easy to recognize due to the large lighthouse at its highest point, which is visible from almost anywhere near the island. Its characteristic letter C shape allows us to enjoy calm, crystalline waters and marine fauna. and wonderful vegetation, being a quiet destination, ideal to enjoy with the family.

La isla no solo cuenta con su atractivo de sus aguas cristalinas y el gran faro, sino también de una vegetación maravillosa, con distintos tipos de cactus y en su parte posterior, dirección norte, una vista maravillosa de arena de un color rojizo y una zona muy rocosa donde pudimos observar la playa la cueva, una pequeña cueva de aguas cristalinas donde hacen vida erizos de mar. Tanto la vegetación como la fauna está protegida por los guardaparques que buscan conservar lo más posible este ambiente natural maravilloso.

> The island not only has its attraction of its crystalline waters and the great lighthouse, but also of a wonderful vegetation, with different types of cacti and on its back, towards the north, a wonderful view of reddish sand and an area very rocky where we could see the beach la cueva, a small cave with crystalline waters where sea urchins live. Both the vegetation and the fauna are protected by park rangers who seek to conserve this wonderful natural environment as much as possible.
