When I got off stage from Ian Balina’s World Tour in Amsterdam, I was met with a flood of people that were interested in hearing more about Sparkster. For the next hour I spoke with over one hundred people about our project, sharing our mission, our goals and aspirations. From that moment, nothing has been the same. When I got back to London, I finally had a chance to check my emails, and to my surprise, we had received so many and such large allocation requests that our presale would have been over before it ever started.

Learning from our presale experience, we held an AMA in our Telegram group and asked the community for feedback on how to best conduct the crowdsale. We heard various opinions ranging from people wanting to avoid gas wars, whitelist wars, to people being upset with 0.1 ETH allocations. But how do we choose a system that’s fair to everyone and yet provides people with the ability to participate meaningfully?

What seemed to be fair is to allow as many people to participate as possible, while rewarding those who contribute to our progress and development with larger allocations. We felt we’d arrived at a win-win for the everyone.

<h2>How does this work?</h2>

Those not wishing to exert any effort, can simply join the <a href ="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdh7Rqo0uM5SP_RJ-oSS4oP66nE3zYQFYSsLyjf944XK7KxXw/viewform">whitelist</a>. Participants will be chosen from the <a href ="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdh7Rqo0uM5SP_RJ-oSS4oP66nE3zYQFYSsLyjf944XK7KxXw/viewform">whitelist</a>. in the form of a lottery and given the opportunity to participate in our crowdsale. However, given that no meaningful effort is exerted to the development of our community, or the long term success of our project, we have limited these contributions to 0.4 ETH per person. Since these are chosen by lottery, we avoid gas wars and whitelist wars. 25% of all tokens allocated to the crowdsale will be made available to lottery participants.

Those who see long term value in our project and wish to support Sparkster’s growth and development are rewarded with significantly larger allocations — up to 10 ETH. We have aptly named this program Proof of Love. Our Proof of Love program requires people to perform certain activities and earn points. The top 5,000 people who collect points will be rewarded with guaranteed allocations that range from 1 ETH to 10 ETH (assuming you pass KYC). However, everybody gets something for participating.

So long as you meet the minimum requirements of the Bronze goal (300 points), you will receive free tokens for your participation. The Proof of Love program is orchestrated through our referral rewards program located at https://earn.sparkster.me.

Some of you might fear that you do not have large social followings, but fear not. There are many tasks that do not require any form of social following including:

1) Having a conversation and sharing positive sentiments about Sparkster in a telegram group.

2) Inviting a friend

3) Sharing your thoughts on Reddit

4) Helping us test our network

5) Translating our whitepaper or video captions

6) Trying out our platform

7) Finding bugs

How do your efforts support the development of our community? One challenge that we face today is that while we’re very well known among ICO participants, we may not be so well known among the general crypto enthusiast community. With your support, collectively, we’re able to create a fertile environment of long term token holders that contribute to the growth and development of Sparkster long term. I think that’s in everybody’s best interests.
