È lui infatti che negli anni Sessanta ha cercato di far conoscere il valore dell'isola al resto del mondo, sviluppando allo stesso tempo nei suoi compaesani una consapevolezza verso il territorio, allo scopo di tutelarlo e preservarlo il più possibile.
