Name Origin Challenge: Why @SpiritualMax? The Reason Behind the Name!
Well, I have been nominated like crazy for this challenge, maybe because people see a huge difference between the "Spiritual" nick and the meditating guy image and what I post.

Well, keen eye, let me tell you all about my name.

By the way, some of the people who nominated me were @eonwarped, @nissla and... well there were more but I can't find them now since those happened a longer time ago.

So, without delay, here's the reason behind my name...

## @SpiritualMax Name Origin: Now I regret it... but heck!

So, as you may know I'm an Internet Marketer. 

My trade was to sell stuff on the Internet, and promote projects from a variety of niches.

A person can't be perceived as an expert in all niches though, so Internet Marketers like me have to create pen personas in order to push projects and products of nearly all niches.

Usually, we develop a pen persona by starting to give it exterior credibility through outside links to the person's site or project, citations by other authors, guest blogging and more.

I found STEEMit when I was creating this new persona for my "New Age and Spirituality" Niche, because I was starting to push products of that area.

The pen person I created for that was Max Webber, aka Spiritual Max.

When I found STEEMit I thought it wouldn't be something that would last, so I figured "Yeah, let's just make a couple of posts and get some links to my persona and leave."

Hence, @spiritualmax was born.

## Why Max Webber? The Pen Persona Explained!

Marketers have a lot of tricks to tap into your subconscious.

One of the tricks we use is we think of names that instantly push trust upon people.

Max Webber is the father of Sociology, but more important than that, it is a trustworthy name - but why?

Simply because experts throw his name left and right, but average people NEVER memorize it. This makes it so that people hear or read "Max Webber" as a trustworthy name without knowing why... this is why some names just "sound good".

They are names which people are used to hear and yet don't know why. As I said Max Webber is the father of sociology, but average people don't know that and only think the name "sounds" nice, from the fact most people's subsconscious have heard it or read it alot already throughout their lives.

When I found out your background and occupation, I figured that Spiritual Max was a marketing name. And I'm glad to hear I wasn't totally wrong. Like you, Herbert Holmes isn't my real name :) my real name looks somewhat ugly and confusing, and HH was something I created a few years ago right outta high school when I thought I'd have time to write more. There is an origin to the name, but I also just kind of liked the way it rolled off the tongue, haha. I don't have any background in marketing or psychology though, so I could be totally fucking wrong!

Lol, that’s the coolest explanation in this challenge I’ve read so far! I created personas a lot while being a content writer for people with mental health issues. The ‘naming them’ part was interesting since we would always have discussions like ‘this is CLEARLY a Max!’, or ‘Nooo, he is WAY too spiritual to be a Max!’
