The SPK Network AMA was a success! We had great participation from the community. The questions and the engagement were great. Below you can read the highlighted questions.

Yes, non-technical people will ve able to run nodes. 
    
If the community wants to incentivize the long-term storage of a piece of content, it will be possible to earn long-term. We are also considering modifying the 3speak proof of brain token that will allow users to earn long-term.

## Frequently Asked Questions, that were not asked during the AMA:

> ### What token do I need to hold for the snapshot?

Hive or Hive Power. The coins need to be in your possession, for the snapshot will count delegated HP to the owner of the stake.

> ### Where will the tokens be claimed?

Initially, the claim was going to be through the desktop app, but now we changed that, and we will have a website read for this purpose. This way, mobile users will be able to claim too.

> ### What will happen if I don't claim my tokens?

You will have 30 days to claim your tokens. Unclaimed tokens will go to a DAO.

> ### What happened to the initial claim drop?

This was going to be only for the first 888 accounts in a period of time of 3.3 days, but we have abandoned this idea and will only do the main claim drop. Check sections 17 and 18 of the [Lite Paper](https://peakd.com/hive/@spknetwork/spk-network-light-paper) for more information.

i was just over on Telegram checking out the Peerplays group (i invested a bit in the project a loooong time ago so occasionally check in) and from the most recent posts from Jan 3rd, it sounds like the chain is offline.  i'm curious how this affects the SPK network and planned tokens and if you are planning to use the existing Peerplays chain or fork it.

So mad I didn't even reach the 69k HP... that would be so epic. I will get there!

Working on getting some free lazy moments after this happens... this is going to be amazing... I can't even stress the importance of starting a new channel and owning WTF I wish for... without having A or B removing or contesting my content without my authorization.

I am also very pro towards the incentivization of storage. I am a filesystem person with some level of senior-ship on high-performance distributed filesystems. IPFS if combined with some enterprise technologies would be fricking amazing. Time will tell... now that we are pushing these technologies even further with new classes of social impact - freedom, ownership, and rewarding mechanisms.

Can't wait... I was not able to attend. But would loved to...
