# Context
Since the release of DEC into [Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com/?ref=splinterstats) in May 2019, and with it, Mystery Potions, 270 Mystery Potion Promo cards have been released, 11 of which have been gold. The previous running Mystery Prize, The Mighty Dricken, finished printing in November 2020.  Replacing the Dricken ([possibly the last Mystery Promo Card](https://www.splintertalk.io/splinterlands/@splinterlands/splinterlands-updates-uniswap-land-presale-and-more)), is a daily pool of 5 Land Plot Claims.

At the beginning of July [I began to post daily statistics](https://hive.blog/splinterlands/@splinterstats/introduction-and-mystery-potions-rewards-1-7-2020) regarding the approximate value of Mystery Potions received, an approximate cost, and the net effective impact on DEC supply from the value received. This month ~2,108,830 DEC value was **added** to the ecosystem across 28 days of Mystery Potions.

For those not familiar with Mystery Potions, for the price of 1200 DEC (or less with guild discounts) a player can currently receive one of the following prizes:

* Legendary, Alchemy, Quest and Mystery Potions.
* Any currently printing rewards edition card (standard or gold) .
* UNTAMED Booster Packs (previously ORBS were included).
* Land Plot Claims.

* Total DEC 🔥 value of rewards cards 34,330.
