### The last days at the beach

The winds had picked up before we left and we were still burnt.  Had to get out and catch some waves before returning to the concrete jungle.  These guys were ocean experts by the time we left.

Higher winds meant bigger waves.  Nothing like Hawaii or anything, but the waves were a ton of fun.   There were years when we encountered nothing but cloudy days an even rain, but this vacation was all sun and fun.

The weekend traffic hit so we chose to ride on the sand and we went north to the next town.

We stopped for some cool drinks on a hot day.   I got up and took this picture of the table we sat at,  some random dude drinking a beer and my youngest son doing his best cool act.  I guess they both looked chill but one of them was living the coolness.   One thing that I remember from this day was the constant megaphone blasting advertisements and events, some that were not related to where we were.   One set of advertising for all of the beach towns.

The voice would come from all around you.  There was no cart or the familiar truck going down the street.  This was an old, fabric plane at about eight hundred feet overhead.    You could tell when he went back for fuel, because he was gone for about forty five minutes.   Then it was up and down the length of the beaches again.  

You never heard the engine because the bullhorn was pointed downward, built right into the fuselage.   I love planes.  I fly them when I can. It was loud, but  I suppose it could be worse.  They could be dropping leaflets or something (like in the city).  

I do like that this country is still free enough that you can come up with an idea and go with it.   Getting paid to fly around playing a looping ad-roll or dragging a  bunch of words behind your plane, that would be my favorite kind of job.  I tend to fly a bit aerobatic when I am behind the yoke though.  It's my nature.

I have many many photos of the home away from home.  I thought I would leave the post with a few more that gave the feel of the week.  My first few were more thematic.  This one is the last I can make unless I happen to find the videos I took.   It was a nice unplanned adventure.  

*All that we needed to do was take one last look at the beach, then ride our wheels to the bus station*
