Not changing my mind on minds yet.
It looks as though Minds.com might have a crypto coin -  of sorts -  a year and a half later.

My last post  minds stated, "How about a digital coin options @minds?"

When I left there were only *points* linked to something called *banks*, needing one of those to cash out,  I turned tail and never went back.

Back then, they wanted all my banking and residential information just to get my $10.00 worth of points out.

It was a fork in the road.  I was posting on MInds and  Steemit at the same time.  It turns out I was able to withdraw all $235.00 worth of Steem from my account only a week after posting my first post!

Now I see that Minds.com has a **Token 101** section.   Cool, I can learn how to transact value without permission from a bank manager.  :) ***What a concept***

They are still asking for my info.  Well, they want my *phone number*, which will be the first crypto coin of all that wants personal info.  I'll get a burner phone.   I like anonymity.

I am curious if they will ask for more before I get my *alleged* crypto out.   I see that they will do the wallet generation using my phone number but I like keeping my own private keys on my own encrypted drive in my own safe.   

I will still give minds a chance when I get a chance.

It does not matter.  If you are thinking in dollars, the price will appear to go up as the dollar loses the last three percent of its purchasing power.   When a Big Mac costs a hundred dollars, Steem will be over fifty dollars each, but what good does that do you?  
Big Mac = $100 and Big Mac = 2 Steem.

The above will hold true as long as nobody tries to get rid of the dollars they have and move them into crypto.  Yes, that might happen.  Venezuelans continued to use the paper currency until a half-million bolivars was needed to buy some chewing gum.  (I think I resteemed that one.)

Paper is paper. Steem will have worth, which is what is important.

There are many people who have already joined and found solutions in the different sites, whose payments are digital currencies.
