What about neutrinos? Don't they get here way faster than the light from the sun? And something about them going right through the earth without (much? any?) resistance. Not to mention that they are measurable.

I've considered that as well. It's generally accepted that they are passing through us all the time without us noticing, and there was actually a high profile experiment a few years ago which found that they travelled faster than the accepted velocity of light. The scientific community rejected the results of the experiment and blamed it on computer/experimental error, although I'm inclined to believe that they would say virtually the same thing about *any* experiment that jeopardizes their paradigm
