Brand new account from @cryptounicorn420  with the purpose of raising awareness and crypto for those suffering from energy depleting chronic illnesses.  I will do my best to describe in detail my intentions with this account, please be aware the strategies etc may and likely will change over time. I'll try to keep it as short as possible.

**TLDR**

This account will be used for awareness and raising funds for charities who are involved in research  and support for people with chronic illnesses.

**The community**

There is a related Hive community I also just created. You can search under communities for "spoonies unite" or [click here](https://ecency.com/created/hive-147765) This is the first community I have created and am still learning   *** I Would love some volunteer mods if anyone is interested, please comment below.***

Please note the community is created but not fully set up yet. I will do this as I have the energy, but you are welcome to join while it's under construction.

This account will be focused on curating posts and comments from this community. Posts do not necessarily need to be chronic illness related. Spoonies are encouraged to post on general topics as well as about their chronic illnesses (if they feel comfortable doing so). The point of this account to to be able to curate posts  and comments from the community as much as possible. Basically if you identify as a spoonie you are encouraged to post in the community and have a chance of an upvote from this account.

 Folks  do not need an official diagnosis of a chronic illness to be welcome. All people are welcome as long as you show kindness. Please no gatekeeping or "competing"over illnesses. This is a safe space for all, whatever your struggles may be. 

The curation will be manual but random meaning I will not select only the "best" posts and comments. Posts that are too political , hateful or otherwise offense will not be upvoted. I will do my best to curate as much as possible.

I myself suffer from chronic illnesses and cannot guarantee how much I will be curating. I will curate when I am able to.

Earnings on this account curation/posts etc  will mostly be  withdrawn and donated to [Open Medicine Foundation ](https://www.omf.ngo/)or other related charities.  Approximately 25%  or earnings will be used to stake/power up/delgating to keep this account growing.

OMF takes crytpo donations making this easy. They do some amazing research on a shoestring budget.

**HBD earnings**

HBD earnings will be put into savings. Every 3-6 months -ish 75% will be withdrawn and donated. The rest will remain to earn interest.

**ecency points**

The ecency points earned on this account will be used to boost posts or as giveaways.  The giveaways will of course promote the Spoonie community on Hive and raise awareness etc.All earnings from  giveaway posts will be used just like any other post/curation earnings.

**Dividend paying tokens**

I will  donate some dividend paying tokens  over time to this account from my other accounts especially @lolz and @dhedge.  The "drips" from these tokens will essentially be pooled to withdraw and donate or staked, just like with curation/posting payouts. This will be a little passive income for this account. Every penny counts :)

The same applies for any tipped tokens.

I got to know about this from the freecompliment community. If the space for the Mod is still up, I'll love to join the boat.

Helping is a beautiful thing and I can't tell you how fortunate I am finding this post. It will be nice to help out especially when it has to do with health. 

I have been sick for sometime now, and i am thankful that for the past 2 months, I haven't taken drugs, injections, and all. So, it'll be nice to help to show my sense of gratitude.

I really appreciate the idea behind this community, this is the first community in Hive that I have seen on the act of kindness. My name is @caleb-marvel and when I was reading this post, I really felt a need to be part of this community. Although am not suffering from a chronic illness but I want to be supportive in my little way buy making good content in the community and it's reward will be 40/60%. There have been many times, that I have thought... "I wish we had a blockchain-centered place, to elevate the awesome for all those who suffer from chronic illnesses. Having been diagnosed with *Multiple Sclerosis*, back in 2016. This is something that's very dear and 
 close to my heart. Kudos to you @cryptounicorn420 as well as @foxon for such a moving display of support. I have reblogged this post, as well as followed the various accounts (that I wasn't already following) and subscribed to the community. Thank you again, to everyone involved in this... I look forward to seeing the impact this makes, for everyone who suffered from chronic illnesses.
