According to a newsletter from The James Altucher Report, Amazon will soon begin accepting Bitcoin directly, which they could officially announce as early as October 26th, during their earnings call. With Ebay expressing interest in accepting Bitcoin and Overstock.com having done so since 2014, Amazon cannot allow their competitors to corner the Bitcoin market.
