This sticker was found on the iChill GeForce GTX 1060 6GB X3 & V2 graphics cards. We heard the stories of Amazon and New Egg selling out of even older model GPUs as mining profitability rose.

very much like tampering with the hardware, mining now carries the penalty of voiding the warranty. I wonder if more manufacturers will follow suit. Mining is of course very hard on the GPU, running it at maximum for... well from the second you start mining until you stop. The extreme heat breaks down components faster, maybe someone might be able to run the GPU to death mining then turn around and claim the warranty within the time limit but is that very likely?
