I don't pay attention to short-term trends in the markets. When you are part of Dash Nation, and can see the plans and projects in the works, you know there's only one way to go but up. Dash simply works, and the user experience keeps getting better and better. With Bitcoin suffering with its scaling stalemate, it's only a matter of time before more and more people switch to Dash.

Many say it's a scammy instamined get-rich coin for the devs. Ideas seems doable... unfortunately early issues have been unintended to and likely to fester.  DCR and maybe PIVX may be worth looking at as an alternative.  I no longer hodl any Dash.

PIVX = literal premine for the founders (I assume, someone correct me if it was to others). Dash = fastmine bug that went to anyone who was mining at the time. Evan even mentioned the bug with DASH to the community at the time and offered to rollback from the beginning but the community did not want it. There is a lot of evidence out there that shows that there were many different people who mined during the fastmine and many of those coins were sold very early on. Evan did conclude that he had 256K of Dash this month and he mentioned he will be setting aside 80% of it for DAO's within DASH and that it was not for him to use (What a humble, honest guy).

You really have to come to your own decision on whether to believe the official story or to believe the unofficial story like this troll is mentioning.

The big difference is anyone who was mining could get the coins. With PIVX you have to to buy in, meaning that you had to either buy from the founders or someone who bought from the founders.

Aside from all of this if you still think that DASH is overhyped then you could consider PIVX the same, since it's a fork of DASH. Honestly i feel DASH is the only active currency & community out there that is improving cryptocurrency for the Masses and coins such as PIVX are realising this and forking its code, mark my words you will see a number of alt coins following in DASH's foot steps, we already have a few... hmm cough cough... PIVX

Oh yeah, if anyone is thinking if Evan gets paid, well he doesn't, he donates all his time to DASH and assists the rest of the developers working on DASH and he certainly does not have time for trolls leaving comments like this, his got bigger things to work on. the guy + the rest of the team are literal geniuses and the community with them grows stronger everyday!

Nothing's wrong with Dash, it started the year at around $15 and 4 months later it's at $65. New investors may become impatient if they don't see immediate profit but the people who know Dash understand this party is just getting started.

It don't need quality control, it has them in place before they even go live.  The team and community run everything in a test environment (tried & tested) to make sure everything operates as it should, any bugs that do crop up within the live environment are dealt with in a professional manner not to mention are fixed swiftly.
