Hi, friends! Group B in rallying was a fascinating for fans all around world but not for me. I think that WRC cars of today are much faster but much more safer then cars from that time. The thing is that sport in 1980's had much more fans that it has today. And that's pretty normal because times have changed a lot. Those machines were hard to drive just because they had engines of around 500bhp but differentials and suspension were not that sophisticated as today. In those days only pure talent and nerves of steel gave top results. Nothing else. Finnish forests have probably hardest special stages on earth and that's why only the best wins there.
