Day #39 - Poor man's odyssey to 1M STARBITS

Hi, RISERS! I'm determined to reach the 1M milestone as a free2play player and get the 1M card and in this section, I will be showing my progress on a daily basis trying to reach the aforementioned milestone.

### **What Is Rising Star?**

Rising Star is a browser-based music career simulator reminiscent of the old flash player glory days. Built on the Hive blockchain, players start out as lowly Busker tryin' to earn livin' playin' tunes wherever they can. As you improve your skills, build a fanbase, and acquire better gear and instruments and avatars, you'll eventually start a band, go on tours, and prove you're every bit the rising star you were meant to be!

## **First things first. How did I find out about the game:**

I started playing Splinterlands (a game that is simply amazing for me). I got into some discord communities to learn more. One of them is Metafrens where I found an amazing group of players sharing the same thoughts with me.
One day I heard Namelessnameless (a guy that I owe a lot) talking about Rising Star in the aforementioned community and I immediately asked him for his referral code to give it a try.
In the beginning, I confess, I didn't really pay any attention to the game. I was just clicking on missions with no strategy.
However, after a while, I realize that the game is **AMAZING!!!**

## I started planning my strategy for growth

I had accumulated enough STARBITS to buy my first few people cards. I started checking my fans/skill ratio and started buying instrument cards but I didn't do any lessons until I reached 60+ potential skills given (this was what I calculated as worthy to start a lesson on my fan level).
I unlocked the second map and started pushing on XP and bought 2 Pizza Boxes to be able to restart my HP constantly.
Before a month I unlocked Local Mini Tour and got at the level of 2k fans at level 55. This gives me 20 levels until the next step and plenty of time to hit my milestone as a F2P.
I will do occasionally some lessons to keep my ego to 0 for optimizing my Starbits payout.
Targeting the Local Mini Tour and Radio Interview as basic missions to keep the flow constant (of course not more than 6 interviews - after those 6, I'm doing other missions).

## Why Rising Star is amazing

While other games need a constant stream of money flow to sustain being at the top, this game gives you the opportunity to really play with no restraints! Not only I'm a F2P but I managed to buy a lot of packs of Splinterlands via the accumulated Starbits. YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!

## My road to 1M

Yesterday I was not able to do enough missions to accumulate my daily income. I 'm desperaty on finding pizza slices. I haven't got enough the last 2 days resulting to stall on my big missions.
However, our total accumulation continues strong. I have surpassed 45% of my target.

## Conclusion
I will continue accumulating Starbits to reach 1M and get the Million Card. The game is amazing and I hope it stays so AWESOME.
