Ältester Satz in Alphabetschrift entdeckt und entziffert!

Liebe Hobbyarchäologen,

Forscher haben in Israel einen Sensationsfund gemacht, einen vollständigen Satz in der Vorläuferschrift unserer Alphabets, fast 4000 Jahre alt!

Schriftliche Aufzeichnungen (z.B. in sumerischer Keilschrift) gibt es bereits seit über 5000 Jahren, aber die sehr praktischen Buchstabenalphabete breiteten sich erst Jahrtausende später aus. Lange Zeit hat man die Phönizier im 11. Jh. v. Chr. als deren Erfinder angesehen, doch die Kanaaniter (die im heutigen Ägypten lebten) ab 1800 v. Chr. hatten bereits eine Buchstabenschrift entwickelt, teilweise durch Zuordnung bestimmter Zeichen der Hieroglyphenschrift zu einem Lautwert. Z.B. entstand der Vorläufer unseres A aus der Hieroglyphe für Rind/Ochse (hebräisch Aleph, griech. alpha). Tatsächlich sieht das große A, wenn man es auf den Kopf stellt, wie ein minimalistischer Rinderkopf aus.

In Tel Lachish im Südwesten Israels hatte man 2017 einen Kamm aus Elfenbein gefunden. Elfenbein musste aus Ägypten importiert werden, der Kamm war also sicher ein Luxusgut. Erst 2022 konnten die Zeichen entziffern werden. Datierungen zufolge ist er 3800 Jahre alt, stammt also aus ca. 1800 v. Chr.! Auf ihm ist ein vollständiger Satz eingeprägt, die Zeichen sind hier abgebildet:

Der Kamm ist sehr klein (3,5 mal 2,5 Zentimeter) und auf der einen Seite hatte er 14 eng beieinanderstehende Zähne, wie zum Entfernen von Läusen und deren Eiern. Dass es sich tatsächlich um einen Läusekamm handelt, beweist die Inschrift, denn die lautet:
„**Möge dieser Stoßzahn die Läuse des Haares und des Bartes ausrotten**".
Unter dem Mikroskop fand man auch noch 0,5 bis 0,6 mm große Reste von Kopfläusen!

Es ging also dabei nicht um Götter oder Buchhaltung, wie die meisten anderen Texte aus dieser Zeit, sondern um das profane Problem der Kopfläuse, die die Menschen vor ca. 200(!) Generationen vor unserer Zeit auch schon geplagt hatten. Läuse hatten offenbar auch die damalige Oberschicht geplagt (der importierte Kamm hatte vermutlich einer hochgestellten Person gehört), wie auch heute noch die Kopflaus keinen Unterschied macht, wen sie befällt.

Wenn die Inschrift nicht in das sehr haltbare Elfenbein eingeritzt worden wäre, sondern in Holz oder Papier/Papyrus, wäre sie sicher nicht erhalten geblieben. So gesehen ist der Kamm ein echter Glücksfall für Archäologen und Sprachforscher. Apropos Sprache, die verwendete Sprache, kanaanitisch, ist längst ausgestorben (es war eine semitische Sprache, mit dem hebräischen verwandt), aber das Buchstabenalphabet hat nicht nur überlebt, sondern war so erfolgreich, dass sich mittlerweile die meisten Sprachen auf der ganzen Welt seiner bedienen!

Auch die Ägyptische Schrift selbst hat sich von einer anfänglich bildhaften Darstellung des Inhalts zu einer großteils lautbasierten Schrift entwickelt. Und das ist es ja, worum es bei Buchstaben geht, egal wie sie aussehen. Einige Zeichen kann man - mit viel Phantasie - im Alt-Griechischen und wiederum abgewandelt im Lateinischen Alphabet wiederfinden. All das hat sich halt über sehr lange Zeit entwickelt, es ist nicht von einer Person mal eben erfunden worden. Und es gab ja auch keine "Duden" oder Institutionen, die festgelegt haben wie Schrift auszusehen hat. 
Wäre mal interessant zu sehen, wie unsere Schrift und Sprache in 5000 Jahren aussieht - falls wir dann noch eine brauchen.

Ich mag ja nicht immer Klugscheissern aber das Hebräische Alphabet wurden von den Kanaanitern übernommen, und daraus formten sie das heutige jiddisch. 

Das Runen Alphabet von den Israeliten wurde von den Phöniziern übernommen... aber von welchen? 
Es wurden alle als Phönizier bezeichnet, die die Meere besegelten, die Schiffe Davids- Israel, die Schiffe Hirams Tyros, die assyrischen Schiffe und die Griechen. 

Die assyrischen Schiffe griffen David und Hiram an, was dazu führte, dass sie sich in einem Militärs- Bund zusammen schlossen und den Assyriern mal richtig gezeigt haben wo es lang geht. 

Die Kanaaniter wurden verflucht, man nennt es den Fluch von Kanaan, und das sind die jenigen die sich jetzt als Israeliten ausgeben. Und die Bibel wart vor ihnen. 

Sorry ich weiß ich bin ein Klugscheisser, aber man muss auch vor den Kanaanitern ihren Lügen warnen, denn ihr kanaanitischer- Vater befielt ihnen zu Lügen.

Hm, die derzeitige Theorie ist glaube ich, dass die Hebräer ihr Alphabet von den "Phöniziern" (ein schwammiger Begriff, ich weiß) übernommen haben, die es ihrerseits von den Kanaanitern haben. Ich rede nicht von den Sprachen, wie sich die entwickelt haben, ist eine komplett andere Geschichte!

Ja ich verstehe was du meinst, habe den Artikel gelesen, sie machen wieder ihre Propaganda für Kanaan, weil sie behaupten... sie seien die Israeliten.
