Dear Chessfriends,

in the third iteration of Season 5 we played a Swiss tournament - 9 rounds of 3+1 games. The 14 players had an average rating of 1834 (the highest so far in S5). @sawko could take revenge for last week - he won with 8 out of 9 points. Congratulations! Second was @kreur, who had a great run today! Third was, like last time, @jaki01, followed by myself as 4<sup>th</sup>. I lost only against @sawko and even could draw against @jaki01, so not too bad, but too much draws to end up in the Top 3. After a gap of 2,5 points @yazp (zulukill) and @pereu4ivatel (pereu4uwatch) followed as 5<sup>th</sup> and 6<sup>th</sup>. The remaining tournament points went to @maciejficek (XM9000) (with his first points this season) and @lighteye.

No changes in the top ranks this time, @sawko is on a good path to win this season again, but behind him it is still quite open.
@kreur could make a huge jump to the sixth place due to his good result today.

I would like to remind all, that you need to participate at least in 3 of the 11 rounds in order to qualify for rewards!
