In every argument, you are wrong and am right whatever the circumstances. Wrong or right is a complicated subject. The more we think about it is the more we are ensnared in a quagmire that is hard and difficult to come out of it.

Suffice to say, some theories that were percieved to be wrong over time may alternate and become a right. A similar case may arise with right ones.

A good example is about sodomy which was for years percieved to be evil; it suddenly changed to gay and it was embraced as a morality.

According to the bible, before people were too many, brother and sister used to marry and it was proper. When did it change and became incestious?

It therefore goes without say that wrongs and rights are still going a metamorphosis. They are revolving.

The question is, who determines what is wrong or right?

Before one can set up any entity, people sit down and make rules and regulations. They begin to operate under those rules and regulations. Following them becomes a right and going against them ewually becomes a wrong.

Yet that is not how rules came into existence.

OUR CONSCIOUSNESS

Our consciousness obviously should be the beginning of determination of what is right or wrong. You are always aware of your actions.

There are times when one part of you always bargains with the other part. The question is normally whether what you are doing is right.


GOD AND RELIGION

God, when he gave the ten commandments actually set a pace of what is moral or criminal. Observance of the laws was right while not doing so was wrong.

It is on this background that many wrongs and rights were derived. Jesus Christ also gave measurements for righteousness. Religion therefore has determined what is wrong or right.

Titus 3:2

"Speak evil of no one."

COURTS AND PARLIAMENTS

Courts are known to be continually determining what is right or wrong. They may term wrongs as crime, lawbreaking, lawlessness, criminality, corruption and many others.

They may base their judgement on the constitution, parliament or own judgement. Usually they determine what iswrong or right.

COMMUNITIES

Communities around the world may determine what is good or right. Different communities have their own rights or wrong. The Bill of Rights gives the universal ones.

With the advancement of technology, the rights and wrongs are being married together in holy matrimony.

THE RULE OF THE MAJORITY

Majority also determines what is good or wrong. 

   "If many are doing it
   Then it is not wrong"

Col 4:6

Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt.

Majority may not be right, yet we blindly follow them. If America does it, then it is goodvforvAfrica too. That is wrong! Anyway, whom am I to determine what is wrong or right?
