Hey, Hivians!



I wander every day through the pages of the Hive community and its members and look at the model of behavior. A pattern of behavior that they have adopted and adhere to. And there aren't many of those patterns, to summarize some of the points. Everyone really chooses for themselves. But I think Hive is providing more options now than it did 2 years ago. I think there are even more options to develop now than there were half a year ago. But I see that there is so much information that some people just don't have time to absorb and digest it. These questions plague me, so I thought I'd break down a few that are obvious to me. Let's go!

## <center>Delegation all your Hive Power</center>

As you know, Hive operates as a [DPOS](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-delegated-proof-of-stake-dpos) blockchain where everyone can manage their vote and vote power as they like. We all think this is a great system. In fact, it is! But our vote, is still our vote. And if we delegate 99% of our HP for the sake of a 10% annual payout in a liquid Hive, we are giving away our vote almost entirely. We can no longer reward our friends on Hive. We really want to, but we can't... In the end, those votes go to whomever others choose.

No, I can see how well the group curators who are delegated tens or even hundreds of thousands of HP are doing. They do check the material for plagiarism and vote for great material. But Hive is more than just great material. For me, it's a social network where I read, write and thank my friends sometimes just for being really great people in life. If I delegate 99% of my HP, I can't thank them the way I think I should.

This is really important to me, so now I have set a bar for myself to delegate. A maximum of 30% of my total HP. I've also been buying and accumulating tokens since my first months here, which I can give instantly in any post. It's not a large amount, but when a person is worth it, he can collect a good amount of tokens and use them the way he wants! Ecency points, `!ALIVE !PIZZA !CTP !WINE !PGM !LOLZ !BEER` are what you can always use and very often see in my posts.

## <center>Hive second layer tokens</center>

My regular readers know how much I love my portfolio of second layer tokens. I honestly think they are the future of both Hive and Hive-Engine! There's a reason it's called an engine. The history of the first second layer tokens was a sad one. Many of them didn't survive the bull market either. The old-timers are very skeptical of many of the tokens, except for a few of them (LEO, BEE, BRO, CTP, PIZZA...). I have heard the opinion that the smart contracts of the second layer tokens can be changed at any time, so it is a centralized power in the hands of its creator. If this is not the case, then email me (and where to see up-to-date information on this)!

I end up seeing some tokens not hold up in the wallets of Hive users, and even worse, drain the market, killing the price in seconds. This was the case with Listnerds, CTP, PIMP and others. It will be that way with many of the next ones... If we don't look for a solution to this issue. The engine should run, not burn fuel.

Regardless, I still choose second layer tokens to my liking and discretion and accumulate in my portfolio just like Hive Power! It turns out I do it after my long research, observations, but on full trust of their creators and holders of these assets. Basically this is how any crypto coin works. The correctness of my approach will be known in a year or two, when I will make a summary table of all my assets from daily reports, which I publish in my Actifit reports. In the meantime, over the past six months these assets have only brought me profits.

In fact, I have even more second layer Hive tokens than I have in my spreadsheet. I just don't know yet how to automate the calculations so I don't have to spend an hour a day doing it. But I'll figure it out. Or I'll be glad if someone has already solved this problem and can give me a hint!

## <center>Conclusions</center>

It's really up to everyone to choose for themselves. Hive is so diverse right now that you can find your niche and be at home here! The idea of this post was to show that. And that you can step out of your comfort zone to at least take a broader look. Perhaps someone is missing out on something that will bring them and all of us more value. More value for each one is more value for everyone of Hive!

Я каждый день блуждаю по страницам Hive комьюнити, его участникам и смотрю модель поведения. Модель поведения, которую они приняли и придерживаются. И таких моделей достаточно не много, если обобщить некоторые моменты. Каждый действительно выбирает сам. Но думаю сейчас Hive предоставляет больше возможностей чем 2 года назад. Думаю сейчас вариантов развиваться даже больше, чем пол года назад. Но я вижу, что информации настолько много, что некоторые просто не успевают её поглощать и переваривать. Меня мучают эти вопросы, поэтому я решил разобрать несколько очевидных для меня. Поехали!

## <center>Делегировать весь свой Hive Power</center>

Как известно, Hive работает как DPOS блокчейн, где каждый может распоряжаться своим голосом и силой голоса так, как ему нравится. Мы все это считаем отличной системой. На самом деле так и есть! Но наш голос, это всё же наш голос. И если мы делегируем 99% своего HP ради 10% годовых, выплачиваемых в ликвидном Hive, то мы отдаём свой голос почти полностью. Мы больше не можем вознаградить своих друзей на Hive. Мы очень хотим, но не можем... В итоге эти голоса идут тем, кого выберут другие.

Нет, я вижу как хорошо работают кураторы групп, которым делегируют десятки и даже сотни тысяч HP. Они действительно проверяют материал на плагиат и голосуют за отличный материал. Но Hive это не только хороший материал. Для меня это социальная сеть в которой я читаю, пишу и благодарю своих друзей иногда просто за то, что они действительно великие люди в жизни. Если я делегирую 99% своего HP, то не смогу отблагодарить их так, как считаю нужным.

Для меня это действительно важно, поэтому сейчас я поставил для себя планку для делегирования. Максимум 30% от общего HP. А ещё я с первых месяцев общения тут покупал и накапливал токены, которые могу дать моментально в любом сообщении. Это не большая сумма, но когда человек этого достоин, он может этими чаевыми насобирать неплохую сумму и распорядиться ими так, как он захочет! Ecency points, `!ALIVE !PIZZA !CTP !WINE !PGM !LOLZ !BEER` - это то, что вы всегда можете использовать и очень часто увидеть в моих сообщениях.

## <center>Токены второго слоя Hive</center>

Мои постоянные читатели знают насколько я люблю свой портфель из токенов второго слоя. Я искренне думаю, что за ними будущее и Hive и Hive-Engine! Недаром это названо двигателем. История первых токенов второго слоя была печальной. Многие из них не пережили и бычьего рынка. Старожилы очень скептически относятся к многим из токенов, кроме некоторых из них (LEO, BEE, BRO, CTP, PIZZA...). Я услышал мнение, что смарт контракты токенов второго слоя можно менять в любой момент, поэтому это централизированная власть в руках его создателя. Если это не так - то напишите мне (и где можно посмотреть актуальную информацию по этому вопросу)!

В итоге я вижу как некоторые токены не держаться в кошельках пользователей Hive, а что ещё хуже, сливаются по рынку, убивая цену в несколько секунд. Так было с Listnerds, СTP, PIMP и другими. Так будет и с многими следующими... Если не искать решения этого вопроса. Двигатель должен работать, а не сжигать топливо.

Несмотря на это я всё равно выбираю по своему вкусу и усмотрению токены второго слоя и накапливаю в своём портфеле так же, как и Hive Power! Получается я делаю это после своих долгих исследований, наблюдений, но на полном доверии их создателям и держателям этих активов. В принципе так же работает любая крипто монета. Правильность моего подхода будет известна через год или два, когда я сделаю сводную таблицу по всем моим активам из ежедневных отчётов, которые публикую в своих отчётах Actifit. А пока, за последние пол года мне эти активы приносят только прибыль.

На самом деле у меня даже больше токенов второго слоя Hive, чем в моей таблице. Просто я пока не знаю как автоматизировать подсчёты, чтобы не тратить на это час времени в день. Но я придумаю. Или буду рад, если кто-то уже решил эту проблему и подскажет мне!

## <center>Выводы</center>

Каждый действительно выбирает сам. Hive настолько сейчас разнообразен, что можно найти свою нишу и быть тут дома! Идея этого поста была показать это. И что можно выйти из своей комфортной зоны, чтобы хотя бы взглянуть шире. Возможно кто-то упускает из виду то, что принесёт ему и всем нам больше. Больше ценности для каждого - это больше ценности для каждого из Hive!

What you say about delegating, so true, one needs to keep some HP back in order to be able to vote freely on posts.
Also, how can one know where the votes go when delegating or following a train? Maybe a train votes for the same post as me, so I think it must be a good train and follow it, but next day it puts my vote on something I hate!
