Steemit the most genial Ponzi scheme of all time!!!

<h3>Hello, I am two weeks that I move in Steemit, and I began to understand how things work.</h3>

<h3>Simple, the money generated by whales, are nothing more than a redistribution of steem power that us mere mortals buy for the hope of one day becoming a whale we too. In the end the percentage that remains in steemit is much larger than it is redistributed. The factor that determines the Ponzi scheme are the two years needed to gain back the steem power in steem after power down. because they have to give cycle to the scheme and receive the money from new purchases of steem power.</h3>

<h3>It has two functions, first it is to cover, if it had been used the BTC would not affect anyone because it would have been a Ponzi stillborn. Second, it is an added value, if the community continues to grow much its value may increase conspicuously.</h3>

<h3>When I realized it was a Ponzi scheme I am not angry because I invested 0.5 btc, nay, After completing the puzle, I was fascinated by the brilliant idea. They have made some people rich, (the whales), who wrote or created important things for steemit, but also people who posted stupid things. And this was the bait. We all now have the hope of making a post that generate the salary of a year, and for this reason we invest in steem power, and this it can be seen due to the free wallet. But the most brilliant thing is &nbsp;to generate income with upvote, steemit in this way should not do anything to get publicity, because is the users who make this for them, trying to get more votes and comments bring their friends in steemit. Get publicity is an expensive operation and if done badly counterproductive, be able to get this so much thanks to every user is a stroke of genius. In the end, a non-aggressive marketing philosophy is the best weapon, no one has ever asked me to buy steem power, and I have never read anywhere that I had to buy it, but despite that, the system brings you to do this. WONDERFUL</h3>

<h3>A Ponzi scheme done right can make you earn money, only with a redistribution of money equivalent to the investment, while here it's a lottery you could earn 10 times or more the investment but also never recover it. To know if they will return our investment we can only wait.</h3>
<h3>After this post that if you read carefully you'll understand that it's all true, it may be that my activities on steemit ends here, I hope not to be banned for telling the truth, however if I'll stay, I will continue to post and advertise, because as I said before, even if it is a Ponzi you can earn well.</h3>

For it to be a Ponzi scheme are they not doing it wrong if they keep paying me and I've never spent a dime?

There is no free lunch. They dump there steem for bitcoin and pump with a part of the bitcoin the worthless steem dollar. When they stop this process, you will see that the king is naked.

And if I didn't spend a dime, yet I have money (not in steem) I received from it.... isn't that kind of NOT a Ponzi scheme?     It may have some similarities but I think the term Ponzi is incorrect in this case.

This ponzi ends when the founders/whales are stopping to buy the steem dollars on poloniex/bitrex. Currently they dumping their steem for bitcoin to the fomoing crowd, and for a part of the bitcoin they buy the steam dollar to keep this show running ...

I am not sure that I agree. A good question is what bring money in the system ? If it's only people dreaming about more money then it looks like a ponzi. But if in the future people invest in steem because of it's value to promotes their ideas or business, then it will not be a ponzi.

I've seen this topic come up before and the answer is always the same;

1. Think about what really constitutes the value of a network or a currency
2. Think about the way other networks and currencies create that value

Apply this to Steemit.

The result being that you'll come to the conclusion that this place is as much a ponzi scheme as pensions or social securities are.

I agree, but with ponzi scheme I never wanted to say that steemit is a scam ... I'm just saying it is based on that. A ponzi until it breaks is not scam.

To me still just a social media where i make some money.  you dont need to put all money in here, and even if you do this you can see as a PoS(just like other cryptos). Still a good PoS, so, no complaints from me and i still earn some bonus with my posts.
