New Game New Rule #Game -1, Why are there 360 Degrees in a Circle
Hi fellow steemians ,
I am here to present my " New Game New Rule " 1st Game.
In this game you have give best answer of my given question. If you taking help from web search then defivately mention it.
#### I will give some glossory that could help you to get answer.

> ## Glossary :
> Cartographers need lines of reference to locate places on maps. Their references system, which originated with the ancient Greeks, users a grid of lines known as latitude (parallels) and longitude (meridians), with distances between them measured in degrees of a circle. Latitude measures angular distance north and south of the Equator, which is assigned 0 Degree latitude.

# Now the Question is - " Why are there 360 Degrees in a Circle "

so I like the game and I take a reference from the net and also going to write a post about it in an hour . so my answer is

Since there are extremely 365 days in a year (not 360) for what reason isn't a degree characterized to be 1/365 of a hover rather than the official 1/360? I have seen a few clarifications, most not exceptionally persuading. My present most loved clarification is that the number 360 is a trade-off between the sun-powered year of around 365.25 days and the lunar year comprising of a year of 29.5 days each of around 354.37 days. Obviously, the months fit well with the Zodiac, which assumed an essential job in their space science. Another clever clarification, however which I've never observed affirmed by a solid source: an old Persian date-book demonstrating a time of 360 days has been found, so perhaps the year around then was 5 days shorter than our year!

The Earth takes one year to orbit the Sun. That means that the Earth rotates on its axis 365 times every year. And it means that every day the Sun appears to move about 1/365 of the way along a huge circle projected onto the sky that extends all the way around the Earth (called the ecliptic). If you lived a few millennia ago and didn’t have modern instruments to accurately record the positions of objects in the sky, you might conclude that the Sun moves about 1/360 of the way along this circle every day, which is exactly what ancient astronomers did. And they then made a leap and decided to divide this circle on the sky—and all circles—into 360 even parts so that the Sun would move through 1 part per day. Each of these parts was dubbed 1 degree, thus giving us the idea that a circle contains 360 degrees.
