# Steem Basic Income
Steem Basic Income is a social experiment to bring a basic income to as many Steemians as possible. Members join by sponsoring others into the program. Steem Basic Income is delivered through providing regular upvotes to member content.

# Enhanced Support Graph
We first published this graph that 'maps' the interrelationships in our member pool a couple of months ago. Here is our graph and analysis from last time we published it:

It only shows people that regularly upvote each other or @steembasicincome, but with multiple shares for bigger upvotes. That makes sense, because we have over 2700 active members across seven pools. All of those interrelationships would be too much for this chart.

When you stare at enough of these clusters, they start to all look the same. The clustering structure is very similar to last time, but some of the names are different. @sbi3 showed up instead of @sbi4 this time, for example. We rotate which account is used to upvote and respond to comments in order to help manage the voting power across pools more effectively. This week it's been @sbi3 a little more frequently, although we are now using @sbi6.

We know that a lot of members really like to see these visuals, but we think it's much more interesting to look at the enhanced graphs of more typical members. Our fastest growing member is @cicbar.

There are quite a few bilateral voting relationships here, which I think is normal for most Steemians that are not actively involved in close-knit relationships. You find a good post, follow the author, eave good comments... over time you more posts from the same author in your feed. As you continue to give quality comments, they start to recognize your name and maybe even give some nice upvotes on your comments. Eventually they check out your profile and follow you back.

It's interesting to see the lower SBI pools showing up here, with some solid cross-links, but not @steembasicincome yet. If we checked this same account in a week, it would likely have a major presence. Most of the voting activity shown in the current graph is from before his big enrollment spree this week.

## Delegation Bonus Shares

Existing members can receive bonus shares by delegation. For every 20 SP delegated to @steembasicincome, members will receive 1 bonus share. Any Steemian that is enrolled in @steembasicincome can delegate as much as they would like, to receive bonus shares. We will publish our delegation sources update again this week, so if you want your support showcased, now is your chance!

## Enrollment
If you want to get involved, or to increase the share of basic income that you receive, enrollment is pretty straightforward:

Just send 1 STEEM to @steembasicincome. Include the name of a Steemian to sponsor in the transaction memo (preceded by @). You and the person you sponsor will each receive 1 share in the program. You can sponsor *any* active Steemian, it does not have to be a current member.

The official currency for enrollment is STEEM. We are not currently accepting SBD for enrollments. Please allow 2-3 days for enrollments to be processed.
