<h1>Steem Basic Income</h1>
Steem Basic Income is a social experiment to bring a basic income to as many Steemians as possible. Members join by sponsoring others into the program. Steem Basic Income is delivered through providing regular upvotes to member content.

<h2>Sustainability Coverage and VP Management</h2>
Sustainability Coverage is currently at 68.22% and rshares reward rate is 545,738,630 per SBI unit per day. 
The rshares reward rate for bonus units (delegation reward) is not decreased, and you can help increase the sustainability coverage (and thus the rshares reward rate on regular units) by delegating to @steembasicincome.

Upvoting Reward multipliers are currently at 1.10x until our Voting Power recovers to 80%.

We last published this graph that 'maps' the interrelationships in our member pool eight days ago. Here is our graph and analysis from last time we published it:

It only shows people that regularly upvote each other or @steembasicincome, or have high subscription levels for regular upvotes that are too big for our smaller voting accounts to deliver. That makes sense, because we have over 6000 active members that are voted by ten different accounts. All of those interrelationships would be too much for this chart.

I always enjoy comparing the previous graph to the new graph. I like to see what fresh faces appear, along with take note of who disappeared.

<h3> Member spotlight: @revisesociology</h3>
Several of these accounts we have looked at before, but one account we have not previously highlighted is @revisesociology. He will hit his first anniversary as an SBI member in just a few days. 50% of the total upvote value he has received from SBI is from his upvoting rewards, and we appreciate the consistent support.

We're rather peripheral to his graph, but with so many influential accounts in his network, that's hardly surprising. I love seeing regular support from members like this that would be just fine without our upvotes. If you don't already follow @revisesociology, check him out!

<h2> Enrollment </h2>
If you want to get involved, or to increase the level of basic income that you receive, enrollment is pretty straightforward:

Just send 1 STEEM to @steembasicincome. Include the name of a Steemian to sponsor in the transaction memo (preceded by @). You and the person you sponsor will each receive 1 unit in the program. You can sponsor *any* active Steemian (except for yourself), it does not have to be a current member.

The official currency for enrollment is STEEM. If we choose to accept SBD without refunding it, you do *not* receive extra value for it.

Enrollments are processed automatically every 144 minutes. Confirmation transactions are still manual and typically are sent within 2-3 days. Even if you have not received a welcome transaction, you can check your status using `!sbi status` in any post or comment.
