Bitcoin, Which Way Will You Go?

Since weeks Bitcoin doesn't really seem to know anymore which way to go. First it goes down, then up before moving sidewards and repeating the whole cycle all over again. It feels like the bulls and bears are both just not sure what they should actually do, playing ping pong with the price around $ 7.000 USD.

I'm actually quite happy though that the market seems to be more or less to fall in a sidewards trend on some healthy levels, which aren't over- but as well not undervalued after all. It'll give the cryptosphere some time to prepare for the next bull run. Eventually we'll see people not just run into crypto but stay as well due to the huge number of awesome possibilities and apps they might discover by then. 

The sphere hasn't been ready to deal with the massive inflows of users during december, which could be seen e.g. at exchanges closing their doors and an overloaded Bitcoin mempool. Everyone has been excited but despite the trading there didn't really exist that much, which could have made them all stay.

That being said I think the next time will be different, because next time the masses will be able to discover not just lightning fast payments with Bitcoin but as well other amazing apps and platforms made possible through all the amazing developers out there working hard on improving our world.

I think most of the coin holders do not get out of the market nowadays because that they would really lose a lot if they get out... There may be any other reason but this is the one comes in the first rank... On the other side April is expected to be a bullish month.

Great post @steembusiness!
Personally waiting for the daily close above $7,000 or below $6,700 indicating it's next direction. I posted an analysis earlier this [morning](https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@kidmartin-95/bitcoin-btc-usd-morning-analysis-break-coming) if you have time check it out. 
I agree with you @stokjockey It makes me so happy seeing crypto quiet and the altcoins this low. I've been stacking my FIAT and just updated my portfolio list getting ready to load my bags before the next bull run.

It also allows for development to take place.  Those blockchains where people are actually creating things to solve real world problems are going to be in a very good position when the next bull run takes place.  STEEM is one of those blockchains.

Bitcoin is going to still be the leader for the foreseeable future.  It seems BCash is taking a pounding since it does not appear to solve the challenges that Bitcoin itself has.  The name recognition alone will carry Bitcoin to the head of the class for a while.

When will this take off?  I believe the FUD is about over.  Reports are some major speculators (like Soros) are amassing crypto....they are market movers and will move it up at some point....

To me, while they pump, development needs to keep pumping too....this will help soften the next dump.
